Jack Grealish rushed over an advertising hoarding and made his way toward Everton’s cheering supporters moments after the final whistle whistle at Molineux.

Grealish was yelled at like a rock star, and screamers erupted to applaud the player, who had just added two more assists to once more propel his new team to victory.

He must have forgotten about the similar circumstances he experienced last season while sat on Manchester City’s bench.

Since joining Everton on a season-long loan, Grealish has transformed from a forgotten man to a main man in double quick succession.

He added another man-of-the-match performance to Everton’s 3-2 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers after scoring twice in the 2-0 victory over Brighton last weekend.

Toffees have scored two or more goals in consecutive Premier League appearances for the first time under that name.

Since Thomas Tuchel took over at the beginning of the year, Grealish has not played for England. He is missing from his most recent squad for World Cup qualifiers against Serbia and Andorra, which will be played at his former club Aston Villa.

England manager Tuchel on Friday addressed questions about why the two players were not included in the list, stating, “There’s no doubt I am a big fan of Trent [Alexander-Arnold] and Jack Grealish.

“Big personalities and big players are always present.” Although I am aware that both of us are desperate, we chose Reece James and Tino Livramento and Rashy [Marcus Rashford] and Ebs [Eberechi Eze] in Jack’s shoes. There is a winner.

He needs some love and care, he says.

Last season, Grealish only started seven Premier League games.

After appearing in two of his new team’s first three games, he appears to be a player who has resurrected wearing Everton’s blue.

While he had 60 touches, 35 passes, and a passing accuracy of 91.4%, Jose Sa denied him a goal in addition to two assists in an action-packed performance against Wolves.

On his return to the West Midlands, the former Villa player also netted seven free kicks for his side.

Everton manager David Moyes commented, “He is even better than I thought.”

He probably needs some love and care. He also requires games.

He should start putting more pressure on himself as the season progresses, and he will do so even better.

He is significantly impacting society. whether it is his assistance, his presence, or many other things.

So, to him, all credit. He has the minutes he might not have in a while.

He is excellent, you know. What Jack gives us is a level of creativity that, hopefully, will lead to goals.

When asked about his recent improvement, Moyes responded, “It’s all about Jack and his own mentality being better. It’s not anything to do with me.

I’m certain that there is a small piece to support our commonality. You have something to strive for in life, in my opinion.

Grealish calls himself “a maverick.”

Grealish contributed two assists overall to Manchester City during his previous two Premier League campaigns that were otherwise unpopular.

He already has four games in the new year.

Moyes demanded that the club hire “elite players” to match their “elite new stadium” at the beginning of the summer.

Grealish’s arrival has more than fulfilled that requirement.

He heavily contributed to the move for Iliman Ndiaye’s goal, which gave Everton a 2-1 lead over Wolves, as well as his four assists in the previous two games.

The 29-year-old is already flourishing under Moyes, making Everton’s attack’ focal point.

Even though Grealish played more than 1, 000 minutes less than Dwight McNeil in the first half of last season, his four assists total for Everton players in 2025-26 are already the second-most since the start of the season.

“We frequently discuss the team’s lack of mavericks.” Former Liverpool defender Stephen Warnock remarked to BBC Sport that Jack Grealish is a “maverick player” who can work hard for the team.

Because he was battling for everything, “he has that side in him as well,” the home fans were upbeat last week at the new stadium.

Danny Murphy, a former midfielder for Liverpool, Tottenham, and Fulham, added on BBC Match of the Day: “The forward line was creative and brave. The fans of Everton must be enthralled, not just Jack.

Grealish, who left Aston Villa for City in 2021 for a record sum of money, was getting ready to play for his nation at this time last year.

When Lee Carsley became interim manager, he scored the second goal in Dublin’s 2-0 victory over the Republic of Ireland.

He has only made two Three Lions appearances since then.

Chelsea Sign Garnacho From Man United

Alejandro Garnacho, a Manchester United outcast, was signed by Chelsea on Saturday for a reportedly $40 million ($54 million) fee.

The 21-year-old Argentine international has a seven-year contract with the world champions.

Garnacho was present at Stamford Bridge to watch the Blues defeat Fulham 2-0 to lift the Premier League title.

“It’s a wonderful club for my family and I,” he said. Garnacho remarked, “I can’t wait to start.”

“We are the best team in the world, and to watch the Club World Cup is special,” said one participant. He continued, “I’m very happy and it’s amazing that I’m here.

Garnacho made 26 goals in 144 United appearances, including the goalkeeper’s 2-1 FA Cup victory over Manchester City in 2024.

However, he lost interest with Ruben Amorim at Old Trafford and was a member of a small group that included Antony and Jadon Sancho, who had been kept from first team training with the rest of the squad this year.

Chelsea’s spending in this window has grown to more than £250 million thanks to Garnacho’s arrival.

Enzo Maresca has also expanded his attacking options with Joao Pedro, Liam Delap, Estevao, and Jamie Gittens.

However, Nicolas Jackson’s loan to Bayern Munich could be prevented by a hamstring injury suffered by Delap against Fulham.

The Senegalese international was supposed to join the Bundesliga champions, but according to reports, Chelsea have ordered Jackson to move back to London, with Pedro as the only fit player.

It’s sufficient when you have two strikers. When one of them has been injured for several weeks, Maresca said, “probably it’s not enough,” adding that he anticipates Delap to miss six to eight weeks.

Freddy Brazier ‘set to become first-time dad at 20 as ex-girlfriend is pregnant’

Apparently, Freddy Brazier is planning to become a father by having his first child with his ex-girlfriend, who would have been Jade Goody’s first grandchild.

According to reports, Jeff approached the model, age 20, after winning hearts on Celebrity Race Across the World alongside his father Jeff Brazier. It has blindsided him and helped to bring his father and him back together, according to a source who isn’t in the room to see it.

Freddy is said to be receiving full support from Jeff, a parenting expert and This Morning regular, as well as other close family and friends who have pledged to assist wherever they can.

It is believed that Freddy’s brief romance with the child’s mother ended in a difficult way due to tensions, which reportedly led to police involvement. Despite this, the two have since discussed how possible it might be to rekindle communication in order to co-parent.

The friend continued, “Jeff was one of the first people he decided to confide in to ask for advice.” He immediately stepped up and was willing to assist wherever he could.

Freddy’s split from Holly Swinburn was made public last month. Holly and Frankie had been residing at Frankie’s East London home.

The pair bought a dog as the situation developed more quickly. They did, however, purchase a Pablo-bred Pocket Bully and set up an Instagram account for the pet.

Freddy reportedly relies on his father Jeff (Studio Lambert) to support him.

However, it appeared that this summer, things between the two turned sour. Freddy had been gushing about the 21-year-old on social media last month. The pair’s photo, which he had at the time, reads, “Couldn’t think of a caption, but the photos say it all. “Life is good.”

According to a source who spoke to the Mail Online at the time, “Things got very intense very quickly and Freddy had been living with Holly and they had made plans for their future,” but things have since changed.

The latest saga in Freddy’s life comes after a string of setbacks, and neither party believes they are in the wrong. Nothing seems simple at the moment, they continued.

Freddy is the younger brother of EastEnders star Bobby
Bobby, the star of EastEnders, has a younger brother named Freddy (@freddybrazier_/Instagram).

Freddy bravely revealed he had been seduced after battling manic episodes and addiction, and today’s news comes as a result.

The youngest son of Jade Goody claims to have been smoking marijuana since he was 12 years old. He also discussed his feelings for his father, Jeff Brazier, and his concern that Jackiey Jade’s mother might commit suicide if he weren’t there.

I’ve been smoking since I was 12,” Freddy said in a snippet from his new podcast, which is scheduled to air this week. I’ve gone to rehab, I’ve had manic episodes, and I’ve had sectioning. A real journey has been taken, and it has been challenging.

When Freddy’s mother, a reality TV star, passed away from cervical cancer on Mother’s Day 2009 at the age of 27, his mother was only four.

When they were just two years old, Bobby and Freddy lost their mother Jade to cancer (Instagram).

However, as Freddy shared a photo of her hugging him and brother Bobby, 22, as they were young, Jade is undoubtedly still in his thoughts despite these many years later.

He claimed that “my nan was unquestionably the person who not only introduced me to weed but also got me hooked.” I have a fear that my mother would kill herself if we didn’t give it priority in our relationship.

And I spent months at my Nan’s and for my dad’s, because I had that in my head for so long.

Over the past year, Freddy and Jeff’s relationship has become strained, particularly after Freddy moved out of the family home to stay with his nan. The pair are now stronger than ever and are making significant strides in building bridges.

Freddy stated in June that he wanted to be clean and that he wanted to heal family relationships. He previously stated, “I want to be happy, be in a good relationship, and have a good relationship with my father and my Nana.”

Freddy’s representatives have been contacted by The Mirror to comment on this story.

Scotland shed past scars to achieve World Cup goal

JavaScript must be enabled in your browser to play this video.

Scotland’s defiance kept a feisty Fiji at arm’s length to secure their place in the Women’s Rugby World Cup quarter-finals, which lacked maturity.

The Scots have reached the final eight for the first time since 2002, and they have frequently struggled to do so in Salford over the past 25 years.

Rhona Lloyd has done it all for Scotland, enjoyed the highs and endured the lows, and after the game, her mind wandered back to a particularly grim time for Scotland Women when they lost a two-legged World Cup play-off to Spain in 2016.

The faces that were present at the previous World Cup, when we didn’t advance to Spain, were “a lot of the people here,” Lloyd, who scored twotries against Fiji, told BBC Scotland.

So for us to now be qualified for quarter-finals, which puts Scotland on the map, which means the world, which is currently in sixth place.

Orr is considered to be one of the best players worldwide.

The winner of the bunch was Emma Orr’s incredible solo score, which culminated in a top-notch individual performance, while Lloyd and Francesca McGhie, who has now scored five tries in two games at this tournament, each grabbed a double.

Some of Scotland’s best moments bore Orr’s stamps. McGhie’s first try was set up by her clever kick through. The centre seized on a loose ball to launch a defense-style attack that saw Lloyd score her second try.

Orr’s try will be considered the tournament’s best, but it also had an impact on the player’s more subtle aspects. Her defensive readings are typical of those found in a wise old veteran for a 22-year-old.

According to Scotland’s captain Rachel Malcolm, “Emma Orr is just a phenomenal talent.”

She’s as unassuming as she comes, but she’s still considered one of the best players in the world today and has always been.

“The exciting thing is how much younger she is and how much better she’s probably going to keep getting,” she said.

She is one of those runners who can keep her feet on a day when people are chomping at her feet because she is so graceful.

We are aware that a physical conflict is on the horizon.

More than any other team in the tournament, Scotland’s backs have scored ten of the eleven tries they have attempted at this World Cup.

The likes of Orr, McGie, and Lloyd are gaining ground in this area, but they are being allowed to thrive by the hard work being done upfront, most notably by Evie Gallagher’s player of the match in the match against Fiji.

After the match, there were some sore bodies as the players shuffled through the media mixed zone, but the players reaffirmed that this was the kind of attritional conflict they needed before their Pool B decider against Canada in Exeter on Saturday.

With two impressive victories over Fiji and Wales, the Canadians are ranked second in the world and have shown why.

The Scots will enter as big underdogs, but given how quickly confidence is eroding within them, they will secretly anticipate a surprise team-up.

According to Scotland head coach Bryan Easson, “Canada are the second best team in the world for a reason.”

“They have a bench right across the pitch, one to fifteen,” they say.

We have a plan in place, and we’ll get ready for that.

“This group has experienced two emotional battles as well as physical battles,” the group said. It was a physical battle to recover from our emotional buildup when we faced Wales.

Leeds thrash Hull FC to dent hosts’ play-off hopes

Betfred Super League

Hull FC (0) 0

Leeds (24) 34

With a 34-0 victory over Hull FC, the Leeds Rhinos stomped out their rivals’ chances of winning the Super League play-off spot.

When Ryan Hall made his 400th Super League appearance, Leeds took the lead, but Kallum Watkins dotted down to give him another advantage.

With a score of 24-20 at half-time, Leeds led by Jake Connor and Morgan Gannon, and Brodie Croft followed suit after the break.

To cap off a memorable performance and an 80-minute forgettable for the hosts, James McDonnell crashed in for Leeds’ sixth try late on.

After a 22-minute attrition, Hall was finally able to break the deadlock when Leeds found space on the wing, but they were not finished there.

Watkins scored on the back of Croft’s high kick, which was rebounded into his path, causing him to quickly ground the ball.

Leeds’ first-half performance was enhanced by Connor’s long-range run-in shortly after, but there was controversy following Gannon’s score in the build-up.

When Croft attempted to pass a clear forward pass to Sam Lisone, the referee, Aaron Moore, did not spot it, and Leeds kept the ball alive with Connor’s clever cross sending Gannon cross over.

Just before the half-time hooter, in the middle of being grounded by Connor and an onrushing Joe Shorrocks, was a tackle on Hull FC prop Liam Watts reported.

In the run-up to his attempt, Croft capitalized on some outstanding work by Shorrocks, who had to offload some pressure to Jarrod O’Connor.

Max Simpson, who was making his first appearance since 2022 after a string of injury setbacks following a broken ankle, was stretchered off the field after a protracted delay.

Simpson is seen being stretchered off as “in good spirits.”

John Cartwright, the manager of Hull FC:

It demonstrates the level of opposition that we faced. The rot began in the first 25 minutes, when we arguably had the better of the first 25 minutes.

“We had to be very close to perfect today, and we did just that with the ball in the first 25 minutes.” They capitalized on three errors, which we did, and it was done.

Brad Arthur, head coach of the Leeds Rhinos:

“On Max Simpson’s injury,” I’m not entirely sure, but they’re still reasonably certain that it’s all precautionary right now.

He appears to be having fun. You’d anticipate that we would take safety with him because it was a pretty nasty collision. Although it’s unfortunate, there are still many chances that he’ll be fine and on his way.

The boys showed plenty of character in the first 10 or 15 minutes, but I thought we were a little flat and tired and didn’t have the same energy levels as we had been.
