Son Heung-min, the current Tottenham captain, announced that he would leave this summer after ten years.

The South Korean international signed for Spurs from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015, and he has made 174 goals in 454 games.

When Tottenham won the first trophy in 17 years against Manchester United in the Europa League final in May, he was the captain.

The 33-year-old has been linked with Los Angeles FC in the Major League Soccer program. He is currently on a contract with Spurs until 2026.

Son, who is also the new manager, described the decision as “the most difficult decision I have made in my career.”

“I’m very, very proud to leave this club as a grown man.”

Son is expected to start and lead the Tottenham team against Newcastle in a friendly on Sunday, which could mean his final appearance for the club could be in his home country. As part of their pre-season preparations, Tottenham are in Seoul.

Son was described as “one of the greatest players to play in the Premier League” by Frank, who took over as head coach in June as Ange Postecoglou.

What a place to play it in front of his home fans, Frank said, “If that is Sonny’s last game?”

The conclusion “could be lovely.”

Son Heung-Min To Leave Tottenham After A Decade

Son Heung-min, the club’s captain, announced on Saturday that he would leave this summer after ten years in north London.

The 33-year-old attacker left Bayer Leverkusen for the Premier League in 2015 and started for Spurs more than 450 times.

He won the Europa League title in May, but despite his high standards, he had a poor season overall and suffered from numerous leg injuries.

The South Korean stated to reporters in Seoul, where Tottenham are on a pre-season tour, that “I want to leave the club this summer.”

The club, in turn, is assisting me in making this choice.

Son, who has 173 goals for Spurs, did not specify where he wanted to go next and cut a sentimental figure.

He has been linked to a move to the American MLS.

The decision I made in my career was the most challenging. Such wonderful memories. Son, who is accompanied by Thomas Frank, the new Tottenham boss, said, “It was very difficult to make the decision.”

To push myself, I need a new environment. I need a little bit of a turnaround; ten years is a long time. I was 23 years old when I first arrived in North London.

I leave this club as a mature, self-assured individual.

Son asserted in a Korean interview that having won Tottenham’s first European title in 41 years “played a significant role” in his thinking.

He said, “Winning a title in Europe felt like I had accomplished everything.”

I had these conversations with myself over and over again as I debated whether I wanted to play football in a different setting.

Frank paid tribute to the South Korean skipper when he left Brentford for Spurs in June.

The Dane, who succeeded Ange Postecoglou, said, “For me personally, I would have loved to have worked with this fantastic person and player.”

One of the best players to ever play in the Premier League, he calls himself a true Spurs legend in every way.

Son is guaranteed a rousing reception in front of his home fans when Spurs take on Newcastle United in Seoul on Sunday.

Since signing attacking midfielder Mohammed Kudus from West Ham, Spurs have had a relatively quiet summer.

Nottingham Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White had a plan to resign, but a $60 million move to her failed.

Molly-Mae Hague ‘can’t understand what she’s done wrong’ amid ‘fall from grace’

A PR expert has suggested that the Love Island star may be losing her “golden girl” status after being criticized for being “out of touch.”

Molly-Mae Hague broke down in tears last week after being slammed, yet again, for being ‘out of touch’ by fans. Now, a pr expert tells OK! that they believe the golden girl’s popularity is on the wane and her star power could ‘all be over’.

The 26-year-old, one of Love Island ’s biggest success stories with an estimated net worth of £6m, had claimed on of her vlogs that she’s done ‘nothing fun this summer, despite taking several lavish holidays posted on social media. Most recently, she headed off on a family trip in her £86K motorhome, after which she confessed she felt ‘overwhelmed’ and had a ‘breakdown’, when her daughter Bambi, 2, who she shares with partner Tommy Fury, was overtired and screaming for hours.

Molly Mae crying
On her YouTube vlog, Molly burst into tears.

While some sympathised with the challenges of travelling with a little one, others were quick to criticise Molly-Mae for complaining, pointing out her affluent lifestyle and frequent luxury vacations, labelling the influencer and entrepreneur ‘tone deaf’.

Our mole claims that such posts really upset the mum-of-one, and the negativity can bring her down. “She does get upset that she’s constantly in the firing line from the public, but she also doesn’t understand why because she doesn’t feel like she’s done anything wrong. She works hard and is proud of what she’s achieved.”

The mum-of-one hit headlines recently when she complained in a YouTube video that she hadn’t done anything fun over the summer months. “I said to a friend the other day, that I’m going to make it to the end of summer having not done one fun thing,” she said to camera. “I haven’t a life. That’s not good is it. Summer will end and I’ve not done one fun social thing.”

Some fans, however, were quick to point out several of Molly’s outings this year; including trips to Dubai, a holiday to Disneyland, a city break to Budapest, their recent motorhome holiday to the Isle Of Man and attendance at high profile events such as Wimbledon, before which she spent thousands of pounds at Christian Dior to wear to the tennis tournament.

Hitting back at the trolling she has received in a recent video, Molly claimed that she ‘doesn’t’ care’ about the backlash, but said it does make her ‘nervous’ to talk openly with fans. “I don’t care who tells me I am out of touch with reality or all this stuff that’s going on on TikTok at the minute, I don’t care I’m not going to not talk about it.

Because in the previous video I said some things that I probably could have said differently, and despite the motherhood issues I’m currently addressing, I feel like I don’t want to talk about anything controversial anymore.

Never one to shy away from her struggles, Molly has admitted to having a tough time with Bambi in recent months. She said in one YouTube video, “I’m having one of those toddler mum days, where I question, ‘am I actually cut out for this?’

She hasn’t eaten in like three days because she is refusing to eat, she says, “every single thing I try and ask her to do.” It’s really challenging for me to do it. Molly acknowledged that it’s “tough” and that Tommy seems to take parenting more seriously.

In light of the recent backlash, PR expert Lynn Carratt believes Molly Mae is in serious danger of losing her “golden girl” status. She states to new that “some of the things she’s saying come across as being out of touch with reality.”

“Molly was the sweet, girl next door on love island, and she had a true love story with Tommy which people really bought into and was very likeable. Men fancied her, girls wanted to be her. She came across as an inspiration. Now, she’s flying all over the world on private jets and sadly, it’s just not relatable anymore.”

Lynn continues: “In the last year or so, it seems like she’s been falling from grace – her days at the top of the showbiz pile could be over.”

She should be able to conceal her money and lifestyle because she has earned it, but we are also experiencing a cost of living crisis. People don’t always want to see politicians flying in private jets across the world.

As it does for all working parents, it is really difficult for Molly to be a working mother. And it’s encouraging that she’s open about her difficulties. However, she needs to consider a PR strategy to resurrect her support.

Molly rose to prominence on Love Island in 2019, where she met Tommy Fury, also 26, and came second place with the boxer, whose brother is boxing star Tyson.

She eventually served as the company’s creative director while working for Beauty Works and founding her own fake tan company, Filter By Molly Mae, after the show, and signed a significant deal with e-retailer PrettyLittleThing. She then left PrettyLittleThing to form her own fashion label, Maebe, which she co-founded last year.

Now, she has a hit Amazon Prime docuseries currently filming for season two and resides in a multi-million pound home in Cheshire with her and Tommy’s two-year-old daughter Bambi. The couple, who got engaged in July 2023, announced their shock split last summer, before getting back together earlier this year.

Manhunt for ex-US soldier suspected of killing 4 in Montana bar

A former US soldier is wanted in connection with a shooting that has left four people dead in a bar in the state of Montana.

Four people were found dead at the scene at The Owl Bar in Anaconda on Friday morning, according to the Montana Division of Criminal Investigation, and the shooting occurred at around 10:30 am (16:30 GMT).

Michael Paul Brown, a veteran of the armed forces for 45 years, has been identified as the suspect. According to owner David Gwerder and public records, Brown reportedly lived right next to the bar.

Before Brown fled the scene, Gwerder claimed that a bartender and three customers had been killed when he was not present at the time of the incident.

He was aware of everyone there drinking. Gwerder said, “I can assure you of that.” He “had no running dispute with any of them.” I believe he simply snapped.

A SWAT team cleared Brown’s home in Anaconda, a town of about 9, 000 people located southwest of Bozeman, about 109 miles (175km) west of the city of Bozeman.

A “massive manhunt,” led by Montana Senator Steve Daines, is being conducted, with the aid of drones.

Brown is “believed to be armed and dangerous,” according to authorities, who said he was last seen west of Anaconda in the Stump Town neighborhood.

According to a social media post from the Anaconda-Deer Lodge County Law Enforcement Center, he should not be approached if seen, whereas residents of Anaconda are advised to stay home and lock their doors.

As police search for Brown in a wooded, mountainous area, more than a dozen police officers have converged on Stump Town, locking it down so no one can enter or leave.

A retired police officer who lives in the area claimed that as officers moved among the trees, a police helicopter flew over a nearby mountainside.

Brown was a crewman for the US army from 2001 to 2005 and from March 2004 to March 2005, according to a US army spokesman. From 2006 to 2009, Brown served in the Montana National Guard.

Governor of Montana, Greg Gianforte, stated in a social media post that he was “closely monitoring the situation involving an active shooter in Anaconda.”

BBC Breakfast presenter says ‘it made my heart ache’ after major change-up in role

Ex: I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! and Louise Minchin, a host of BBC Breakfast guests, said the “significant moment” in her family’s history has sparked new forms of grief.

Louise Minchin and her former BBC Breakfast co-stars

Former BBC Breakfast presenter Louise Minchin has opened up about a bittersweet chapter in her family life, that many parents can relate to. The 56-year-old said she was feeling an “impending loss bearing down on me” after her youngest daughter, Scarlett, recently flew the nest.

Six years prior, when Louise’s eldest daughter Mia left her at home to pursue a university, she felt the same way. She revealed that when I opened her bedroom door, I felt my heart ache when I saw her bed made and the floor clear.

Who would have known that I would miss both her mess and hers? I woke up with what I thought was a dull sense of grief pressing on my chest for weeks because a vacuum had opened in my life that I couldn’t fill.

Louise said she is still adjusting to what she described as “a significant moment” that brings bittersweet feelings as both of her children are away from the family home. She expressed joy in seeing them “fully fledged adults with homes of their own” despite her sadness over their departure.

In her column for Platinum magazine, she continued, “I’m lucky that they feel free to do that.” Louise said she has set dates in her daughters’ calendars for some quality time together, including a trip to Tuscany, to help her through this chapter.

Louise claimed the three had some “difficult conversations” that they “wouldn’t have touched on during snatched moments at home” while embracing this time together.

The presenter and author realized right away that her role as a mother had changed from “practical support” to “psychological support.” Louise added that she has realized it’s time to enjoy her newfound freedom after making the most of her communication with her daughters through texts and calls.

She continued, “I have to be content with that as long as they keep in touch, and in the meantime, enjoy my own life, remembering that they might be back at any time,” she continued.

Louise Minchin
After 20 years, Louise Minchin left BBC Breakfast in 2021.

Louise shares her two daughters with her long-term husband David, who she married in 1998. The former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star is best known for previously fronting BBC Breakfast for 20 years.

In 2021, Louise left the show because she couldn’t put in such “utterly gruelling” hours. The mother-of-two had to set her alarm for 3.40am, which she acknowledged had a toll on her lifestyle, to be ready on the red sofa for 6am three days a week.

She previously stated to The Times, “The hours are horrific, completely, completely gruelling, and it affects every aspect of your life, whether it be when you eat, sleep, or how you feel.” I had already done what I wanted to do, and I absolutely loved it.
