Next week’s PGA Tour season’s opening play-off event will not feature Rory McIlroy.

The FedEx St. Jude Championship in Memphis, which was announced on Friday, did not include the Masters champion.

McIlroy hasn’t played since losing to Jordan last month at Royal Portrush, where he tied for seventh.

Scottie Scheffler’s return from the Open will be reflected in the Memphis tournament.

McIlroy, 36, a three-time FedEx Cup champion, finished last at the St. Jude Championship in second place, nine over par.

Following this week’s Wyndham Championship, the top 70 FedEx Cup standings will be eligible for the St. Jude.

The top 50 will advance to the Maryland BMW Championship on August 14 and 17 after Memphis.

The top 30 players will compete in the season-ending Tour Championship in Atlanta the following week.

Fleetwood Mac icon Stevie Nicks forced to postpone tour after fracturing her shoulder

Stevie Nicks, the face of Fleetwood Mac, has been forced to postpone a number of tour dates after her shoulder fracture.

The 77-year-old singer-songwriter Edge of Seventeen made the announcement on social media by releasing a statement to fans, revealing that some of her tour dates had been impacted, though not all of them. The singer’s statement read, “Stevie Nicks’ scheduled August and September concerts will be rescheduled due to a recent injury that has caused a fractured shoulder that will require recovery time.” Taylor Swift’s engagement rumors surfaced as Travis Kelce’s lock screen was spotted by fans.

  • Stevie made the announcement in an online statement.

Further details will be made available at the time of purchase, the statement continued, and ticket buyers are advised to consult the list of rescheduled dates. On the new date, all previously purchased tickets will be honored.

On Wednesday, October 1st, the Portland, Oregon, concert schedule will resume. Steve apologizes to the fans for the inconvenience and anticipates seeing everyone soon.

Then, following Stevie’s Instagram post, an image of the unaffected tour dates, which will start on October 1st, was shared. The list of rescheduled tour dates was displayed in another image.

The singer will now play in Toronto on November 15 instead of August 15, and perform in Detroit on October 28 instead of September 7. She will also play in Paint Paul on November 12 instead of August 19.

Brooklyn will play on November 19 and Boston will play on November 24; Cincinnati will play on November 30; Columbia will play in December 3, Tampa will play in December 7 and Hollywood will play in December 10.

Initial plans for the singer’s tour to begin in August. The star’s fans eluded the comment section to wish them well. One person said, “Sealer be quick and secure, goddess.”

Stevie! Added another. Rest up, please. For ten years, I’ve tried to see you. And a third phrase, “Hope you’re feeling better soon, here’s to a quick healing” was written. Other fans later admitted that their “heart skipped a beat” before reading the statement.

“Jesus Christ, my heart skipped,” one confessed. A heart attack occurred near Damn. Someone place her in a salt circle and wraps her in bubble wrap.

The announcement comes after it was revealed Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie as a pair have the only studio record to have their work reissued for the first time. Buckingham Nicks is the only studio record ever. Stevie and Lindsey were asked to join the legendary rock band despite not creating any commercial success.

Since guitarist Lindsey was fired from the band once more in 2018 due to unfavorable circumstances, the former pair haven’t spoken since, though Mick has previously stated that he’s eager for Stevie and Lindsey to put the hatchet to rest.

The drummer, who helped found the legendary rock group in the 1960s, once said to Us Weekly, “I always have a fantasy that Steve and Lindsey would pal up a little bit more and just say it’s okay for them both.” But our careers have been so incredible.

Before Christine McVie passed away in November 2022, Mick had intended to reunite the band.

The seasoned musician has struggled “to find direction” since Christine’s passing, but he continues to be optimistic about collaborating with another group in 2026.

Mick said, “I miss playing as much as we used to. I’m hoping that some band will say, “Come and play with the drums” or something in some way next year. So I always enjoy working on albums that I might tour with next year. Not Fleetwood Mac, I don’t know, [but]

My three-year-old was diagnosed with chickenpox when my newborn was just one day old, which meant she needed emergency care.

Marnie continued to tell her fans that she detests giving it to her with “every inch of my body,” but the two-week course is essential! Oax has also lost his balance and is unable to walk. Marnie, who joined the MTV cast in 2013 and became famous, said, “I’m too blessed to be stressed out; I’m trying to be positive, but I just wanted to update you all.

Meghan and Harry’s most fraught royal interactions and the stories behind them

Before they left their senior positions in 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were a significant part of the Royal Family, but there have been some rather contentious moments as a result.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have had a number of royal engagements and numerous family outings over the years, but some of them have had contentious conversations.

Harry and Meghan frequently appeared alongside Prince William and Kate Middleton before being removed as senior royal family members in 2020, earning the nickname “Fab Four.”

However, after Harry and Meghan bid a final farewell to their royal life and relocated to the US, tensions between the couples started to become apparent in some revealing public appearances. It comes after Kate Middleton and Meghan claimed to have exchanged a “human shield” with Prince William.

Gaza family’s battle for survival as hunger and heat deepen despair

The Sobh family has found refuge in a coastal camp west of Gaza City after being repeatedly forcibly displaced during Israel’s conflict there.

Fadi Sobh, a 30-year-old street vendor, describes his tent as “unbearably hot during the summer.” Because there is a shortage of clean water, his 29-year-old wife Abeer collects seawater.

As their mothers pour saltwater over them, the children take turns taking a bath while their mothers stand in a metal basin. Hala, a nine-month-old, sobs when the salt irritates her eyes, while her siblings bear the discomfort without complaint.

Abeer uses a baby bottle to give Hala water. She has lentils to grind into powder and add to the water on good days. Due to the stress, hunger, and summer heat, she claims, “One day feels like one hundred days.”

Sometimes with one of his children, Fadi visits a nearby soup kitchen. However, he claimed that “food is rarely available there.”

The kitchen only serves one or two dishes per week, never meeting the demand. He frequently waits an entire day before leaving with nothing, and the kids go to bed hungry.

Abeer occasionally travels with her children, Youssef, and other aid trucks close to the Zikim crossing alone. More powerful and quick than she is, the majority of the crowds are men. She said, “Sometimes I get food, but frequently I get home empty-handed.”

She begs those who secured supplies if they are unsuccessful. She pleads, “You survived death thanks to God, please give me anything.” Many people respond by handing her a small bag of flour to bake for the kids.

The six children stay inside or close to the tent during the day’s hottest hours. Their parents discourage them from using up their energy and turning hungry and thirsty, preventing them from falling asleep in the heat.

The children venture outside as the weather cools. Abeer occasionally sends them to ask for food from the neighbors. Sometimes they sift through rubble and rubbish to find anything to fuel their tiny stove in Gaza’s crumbling streets.

The family occasionally gathers enough food for Abeer to prepare a meal, typically a thin lentil soup, after spending the day looking for life’s necessities, such as food, water, and cooking fuel. They frequently go to bed hungry and have nothing.

‘It will only get worse’ – Ditcheva on social media abuse

    Images courtesy of Getty

Dakota Ditcheva says her fear of social media abuse will only worsen as she gains experience in combat.

The 27-year-old has more than 300,000 Instagram followers, making her one of the most instantly recognisable female faces in MMA.

Ditcheva claims he has stopped reading comments on her posts as social media platforms and governments continue to do more to protect users, particularly female athletes. He claims she is used to going viral for her knockouts.

As a sports athlete, Ditcheva says, “Hate is a given in this sport, and it’s so upsetting to have to accept that and be prepared for that,” and it’s something I’ve kind of been doing.

“My mother keeps ensuring that I’m not reading certain things, and she’s putting me off reading them.” I’m fortunate to have access to my parents and siblings.

Ditcheva has previously openly discussed the sexual harassment she encounters on social media, and her mother recently received a call from a man who claimed to be in love with her.

A certain person messaged my mother and said they were speaking, and that their message indicated that they were in love and that they were dating, and it became very obsessive.

“It kind of freaked me out and got really intense, like what they were typing.” My mother helped me deal with that, which kind of explains what these people are going to be doing, and I was fortunate.

When they can hide, people are only brave.

Female athletes are not new to sending obsessive and dangerous messages.

Katie Boulter, a tennis star, spoke to BBC Sport about the abuse and death threats she’s received online.

Lisa Howarth, Ditcheva’s mother, is a multiple-time world champion in kickboxing. At fights, Ditcheva’s brother is frequently present.

PFL fighter Ditcheva traveled to South Africa last month to defeat Sumiko Inaba, despite breaking her hand in the fight.

Ditcheva typically stops using social media after fights, but she says a complete detox is not something she can afford.

Jess Carter, who revealed she had been the subject of racial abuse, was one of the Lionesses who took to Twitter during their successful Euro 2025 campaign.

The phrase “us fighters struggle with] switching off” “Ditcheva says, promotions don’t want us if we don’t keep posting, keep our accounts engaged, and we don’t build our name.”

If fighters weren’t required to practice during that crucial [fight] week, it would make a lot of difference.

Ditcheva echoed Boulter and others’ calls to implement identity verification as athletes speak out about the abuse and the government looks into further safety measures.

According to Ditcheva, “verification and having to upload your passport or other similar things would make it safer, and it would change everything.”
