After sharing his post on her Instagram Stories, soap star Tamzin Outhwaite appeared to give her ex-husband and Lucifer star, Tom Ellis, an olive branch.
Tamzin Outhwaite seemingly extended an olive branch to her ex-husband, Tom Ellis, when she re-posted one of his Instagram photos to her own Stories. EastEnders star Tamzin and Lucifer actor Tom tied the knot in 2006 after first being introduced by actor James McAvoy.
However, their nine-year marriage ended in 2014. Tamzin shares two children with Ellis – Flo, 17, and Marnie, 12. The two had a difficult relationship, with Tamzin accusing him of being unfaithful in a quickly deleted Instagram post. And now, she is seemingly offering a truce when she shared one of his posts.
She showed him posing with his kids at the opening of his upcoming movie, The Thursday Murder Club. She captioned the post, which was followed by the hashtag “suchaproudmama,” and she continued, “My heart is bursting.”

Tom is the father of a one-year-old baby girl with his wife Meagan Oppenheimer and a daughter from a previous relationship.
It comes after Tamzin opened up about co-parenting with Tell Me Lies star Tom, revealing that he has been “in and out” of their children’s lives.
She opened up about the painful split in a candid interview with Parenting Hell.
She continued to describe how far she and her family have come, including the challenges facing co-parenting with him and how difficult it is now.
When Josh Widdicombe, a podcast host, mentioned the split “about ten years ago,” she responded, “Yeah, it was literally when the kids were tiny. Not even one of them was Maddie.
She continued, “He lives in LA. He lives in their lives,” adding more detail about Tom’s role in their lives. He’s pretty much in and out of their lives, but they do have a lot of people who have been there.
She made the statement on social media in 2023, which read, “Two years since the father of my children walked out on us for the last time.”
“I still meet new people on jobs who come across more lies and infidelity than he has committed.” But thanks to the clarity and cleanliness of my heart and soul, I am currently unsatisfied.
Last year, in an interview with OK!, Tamzin said she was “happy single” before adding: “There’s a lot on! Life is really busy, throwing a relationship into that is a whole other thing. Freedom fills up my cup, freedom to do as you please is a lovely thing. That makes me happy.”
