Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce engaged as they share loved-up snaps

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift tied the knot! In a joint social media post, the pop legend shared their happy news.

Along with a dynamite stick emoji, they said, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.” Taylor was captured crying during a quick photo of her now-fiance. In a garden, Travis sat on one knee and was surrounded by stunning flowers.

Another photo of the couple and Travis resting his arms around Taylor’s waist while she cradled his face as they exchanged sweet glances at one another made the couple pose for photos. One large diamond, which glowed under the sun, was on her finger, holding her engagement ring.

The pair relaxed on a bench underneath a sprawling floral gazebo as soon as Travis popped the question, with Taylor resting her head on her shoulders while Travis rested his head on Taylor’s. Following speculations about the couple’s engagement, the news comes just weeks later.

The couple’s happy moment was captured on Taylor Swift/Instagram, and they both looked overjoyed.

Last month, fans discovered a secret feature on a phone screen, leading them to believe the couple had secretly engaged and were waiting for the right time to make the announcement. Taylor and Travis posed alongside one another while sharing snaps of themselves and Travis on July 24 and exchanged a picture of their ear-to-ear smile.

Fans started talking, but it was Travis’ lockscreen. Taylor had her hands extended, her fingers spread out, and what appeared to be a ring on her finger in the picture that was on display.

Travis and Taylor’s romance first emerged in July of 2023 when Travis traveled to Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium to watch a Chiefs game while Taylor’s iconic Eras Tour was rumbling. He later shared the details of his real motivations for attending the gig on his podcast New Heights, which he co-hosts with his brother Jason Kelce.

Taylor’s stunning engagement ring was shared by the soon-to-be husband and wife (taylorswift/Instagram).

The American football player had intended to use a friendship bracelet to give Taylor his phone number, but it turns out she avoids speaking during and after performances to protect her vocal cords. He had a second chance, though, when Taylor learned of his daring move.

Travis was questioned about his relationship with Taylor in September. He avoided the personal conversation in an NFL + interview, saying, “I’m not going to talk about my personal life,” as Andrew Siciliano wrangled for more details. The excitement only grew when Taylor showed up to cheer on Travis at his 24 September game, sparking a stir among the media and fans, along with his mother, Donna Kelce.

The pair’s bond was still present in November, especially when Travis flew to Buenos Aires to attend Taylor’s 11 November Eras Tour performance. When Taylor tweaked the lyrics to “Karma,” which nod directly to her beau’s career, “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to me,” Taylor’s fans couldn’t help but swoon.

In a private conversation with The Wall Street Journal a few weeks later, Travis openly stated his admiration for Taylor, saying, “Being around her, seeing how smart Taylor is, has been f*cking mind-blowing. Every day I learn. Taylor also slandered their romance when she was named Time’s Person of the Year at the end of 2023.

Taylor addressed the mag’s open discussion about her incredible tour, her tireless work, and the endorsement of any rumors about the status of her and her boyfriend Travis. By the time she arrived at his game, they were already tied, according to her.

Travis allegedly made me a very adoring blast on his podcast, which I initially thought was metal as hell,” Taylor explained. Right away, we started hanging out. We actually spent a lot of time together, which no one else did, and I’m grateful for that because we eventually got to know each other.

The well-known singer added, “We were a couple by the time I went to that first game.” Some people, in my opinion, believe they saw our first date at that game. We’d never be psychotic enough to force a first date to be difficult.

When Travis and Taylor were enjoying some festival fun, the lovebirds were captured soaking up the Coachella vibes as the pair watched on in April 2024. Taylor also released The Tortured Poets Department, an album that addressed her past ties to British actor Joe Alwyn and Matty Healy, a frontman from 1975.

However, there were some tracks on the double album that were inspired by her in-between-trading romance. When People inquired about Travis’ favorite song from the album, he admitted that he might be biased when he said he might be biased when he said “So High School.”

Prince George and Princess Charlotte, Prince William’s two eldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, were the subjects of Taylor, Kelce, Prince William’s first official Instagram photo, posted from her London show on June 20, and he made his first public appearance. Travis and Taylor both made their Eras Tour debut at their Wembley Stadium concert, and Travis did it for a memorable month by wearing a top hat and tails for a guest appearance on stage together.

Travis stated on his podcast in July 2024 that it was “the perfect time for me to go up there, just be a ham, and have some fun” while describing Taylor’s performance as a “funny, playful part of the show.”

In August, Taylor made her podcast debut and revealed details of her twelfth studio album on Travis’ New Heights podcast.

Taylor opened a briefcase with the words “TS” printed on it, which contained the album but had the cover blurred out, and appeared in a clip with her NFL star boyfriend and his brother, a former NFL player, on their New Heights podcast.

She stated to the brothers in the clip, “This is my brand-new album, The Life Of A Showgirl,” and she wanted to show them something. Travis yelled “TS 12” while the brothers screamed.

Raven forced to cancel European tour as John Gallagher undergoes brain surgery

After John Gallagher was taken to a hospital and required two emergency brain surgeries earlier this month, the heavy metal band Raven were forced to postpone their upcoming European tour.

Fans of the sudden health scare and the band’s decision to postpone the tour were informed by the Newcastle-formed band, who are best known for their influence on the New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM) movement.

Gallagher, 66, had a severe headache that forced him to go to the hospital on August 12. A subdural hematoma, a type of brain bleeding that required urgent surgical treatment, was discovered during a subsequent CT scan.

A band spokesman said in the official statement that “we are very sorry to announce that we have to postpone the upcoming European tour due to John’s health.”

He was taken to the hospital on August 12th with a severe headache. He was identified as having a bleed on the brain known as Subdural Hematoma following a CAT scan.

A further, more invasive procedure was scheduled for the following day, according to the 19th. He is currently recovering well, but he will need to recover and not be able to take a plane.

The tour was supposed to begin on September 6 in the Netherlands, stopping at locations in Greece, Austria, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Cyprus, and Spain, before wrapping up on September 26.

The band made the decision out of concern for Gallagher’s recovery, even though they were disappointed. They also made it clear how uncommon cancellations have occurred throughout their five-decade career.

John Gallagher, his brother Mark Gallagher, Mark Gallagher, Mark Heller, and drummer Mike Heller make up the band that was formed in 1974.

Despite his recent ordeal, John Gallagher addressed fans directly from his hospital bed in a video message where he appeared upbeat and upbeat. “Hello everyone, there. Not the video I wanted to create, he claimed.

“My metal horns are there, as you can see, in the hospital.” I had bad headaches when I entered on August 12.

They went into the room and did their thing when they discovered I had a bleed on the brain the following day and told us we shouldn’t want any aneurysms, strokes, and other such things.

He continued, “Urged to go in again on the 19th, slightly more significantly, and things are working out.” We won’t be able to make the European tour, despite how sad it may seem.

Celebrity SAS’ Bimini breaks silence on failing show as they slam ‘bullies’

Although two other finalists didn’t make it that far, Lucy Spraggan, Troy Deeney, and Michaella McCollum, the celebrities in SAS: Who Dares Wins, passed the final round last night.

One of the unsuccessful recruits from the latest series of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins has opened up about their departure from the reality TV show. Bimini Bon-Boulash was culled from the process after having reached the final.

Bimini, 32, whose real name is Thomas Hibbitts, was a finalist on the Channel 4 show alongside the likes of Adam Collard, who voluntarily withdrew. Last night’s episode instead saw Michaella McCollum, Troy Deeney and Lucy Spraggan pass the gruelling process, unlike the other two finalists.

RuPaul’s Drag Race UK runner-up Bimini was sent home shortly before the end of the experience after failing an interrogation task. The finalists had been given a cover story to present to the interrogators, and Michaella was later “punished” for saying that she couldn’t remember anything.

In an effort to persuade Michaella to speak out, Bimini instructed her to pour cold water on her. However, Bimini expressed discomfort, including that she would be “freezing,” and ended up giving details about their investigation to interrogators, which put an end to the conflict.

Following the scenes airing last night, Bimini took to Instagram to address their exit. The drag artist told their followers that they “can’t stand” seeing people be “bullied or hurt,” adding that they left with their head held high.

Bimini wrote, “I signed up for @sas_whodareswins to give it everything: body, mind, and spirit.” I persevered despite the chaos, smiled, and committed to who I am. What I ultimately failed to realize would ultimately be my strength and be perceived as my weakness.

I don’t like violent behavior, seeing people being bullied or hurt; it’s just not my thing. I’m devastated that I didn’t get chosen, but I’m walking away with my head high and I’m SO proud of [the other four showfinalists].

SAS Who Dares Wins is over, Bimini declared in text written over the episode’s photos. I was devastated that the course didn’t come to an end when it was all but certain. However, I was able to grow so close to them while watching the show (huge love to Michaela, babe!) I didn’t like this scenario in any way.

“But I’m still proud of everything I did on the show.” Even in the most challenging circumstances, I stayed true to my morals despite the majority of them. This gender-bending saga makes its way to SAS Who Dares Wins’ conclusion! That means the most to me.

Bimini was sent to see the umpire in the episode after trying to pour cold water on Michaella and giving details about their interrogation. The umpire stated, “I regret to inform you that you had a bad experience at this point of the course.” You tried to avoid any threat of physical harm or danger, in my opinion, by trying to protect someone from unfavorable behavior.

The instructors then gave Bimini praise for their efforts throughout the experience. The contestant responded, “I’ve had a really good time. I enjoyed it.” That last bit there, in my opinion, was misinterpreted. In that brief moment, I simply let the emotions control me.

On Channel 4, you can stream Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, the most recent season.

Israel bombs once-bustling Gaza City neighbourhood Zeitoun to rubble

Zeitoun, formerly a prosperous, active neighborhood in Gaza City, is renowned for its bustling markets, olive groves, and tight-knit community. Here, families of all generations are creating lives, memories, and futures.

Timeoun is unrecognizable today. Flattening has been used to flatten entire blocks. Hani Mahmoud from Al Jazeera has spoken with former residents of the neighborhood who had their homes razed to rubble.

The roof collapsed on our heads as we slept, and the pieces were all over us by midnight. We were terrified when we woke up. I donned my prayer gown and began calling my children. I gave them the names Sanad, Mahdi, Mohamed, and Ibrahim. But the dust and the rubble kept me from seeing them, Feryal Ahmed said.

Since beginning its sustained assault on Gaza City on August 6, Israel has completely destroyed more than 1, 000 structures, according to the Palestinian Civil Defense, which has claimed earlier this month.

Nearly 1 million Palestinians have been forced southward to concentration areas by Israeli tanks as Israel attempts to occupy Gaza City to its fullest extent.

The destruction is colossal. What once had color and sound is now gray, buried in dust, and silent.

Everything in Zeitoun was stunning, according to the author.

As long as I’m still breathing, I will never forget Zeitoun. It is tragic. The Israelis’ actions toward the neighborhood have caused me to feel hurt. “Everything in Zeitoun was beautiful, including the birds, the water, the greenery, the farmlands, the olive trees,” said Mahdi Awad.

Neighbours who once shared meals with each other’s homes now snooze in the open, grieving, and uncertain of the future.

For about a week now, several homes have been hit in Gaza City, particularly its Zeitoun and Sabra neighborhoods.

A deeper wound, the displacement of families, the silencing of neighborhoods, and the loss of history, lies beneath the mounds of debris and concrete.

“This neighborhood’s buildings are at the heart of the destruction, far more than just those.” Living in Gaza is almost impossible because the majority of the infrastructure, residential areas, mosques, mosques, waterways, and even pipelines and water networks have been severely damaged, according to Asem al-Nabih, a spokesperson for the municipality.

Zeitoun is the only place a young Palestinians have ever known, not just a place on the map.

“I attended there, and I was raised there. I’m one of the neighborhood’s children. I would like to be told to go back when I wake up. I still want to go back, said young Palestinian resident Mahdi Khaled, even if it has been bombed or if everything has vanished.

Despite the destruction, this yearning surpasses the fear of bombardment.

The people of Zeitoun continue to tell the story of Zeitoun, from life to death, and from rubble to longing. They believe that their home is more than just walls and a roof; it is also a sense of belonging and return.

Superchargers knock out Originals to seal Eliminator place

Headingley’s The Hundred women’s competition

Manchester Originals 94 all out (95 balls): Monaghan 26 (17), Sutherland 3-15

Northern Superchargers 96-2 (65 balls): Sutherland 30* (17), Davidson-Richards 30 (18)

Eight wickets separated the Superchargers.

In The Hundred, Northern Superchargers defeated Manchester Originals to claim an impressive eight-wicket victory, which guaranteed their spot in Saturday’s Eliminator.

The outcome also confirms that Originals and London Spirit will face Superchargers at The Oval.

Superchargers and Spirit trailed Originals by four points in the first half of the second half, knowing they needed to win big to overhaul their rivals’ superior net run-rate.

With five balls left in the innings, they were forced to bat and put a commanding total on the board, but their aggressive strategy was unsuccessful and they were bowled out for 94.

Although the originals’ skipper, Beth Mooney, had a good start, the Superchargers bowlers’ discipline and control gradually lost favor as the innings went on.

Annabel Sutherland, the star of Australia, had 3-15 balls, while Nicola Carey, her compatriot, had 2-13, and Kate Cross, the seamstress, had a poor 1-1.

Superchargers only needed 38 balls to pass, so they needed 34 before moving on to the victory with 35.

At the top of the order, Alice Davidson-Richards scored 30 from 18 balls before a 54-run stand between Australians Phoebe Litchfield, who added another Australian run, and Australian Sutherland, who made an unbeaten 30 from 17 and finished the job.

After England snub, Cross once more impresses.

Cross was dropped from the England squad for the upcoming World Cup in just a few days, which she claimed “feels savage.”

The Superchargers seamer enjoying such an impressive tournament only gets better with each match that comes and goes.

The 33-year-old bowler has taken more powerplay wickets this summer than any other female bowler, but she only allowed 55 runs in that span.

Kathryn Bryce, the home team’s sixth victim, came after Mooney’s excellent debut.

Cross was pivotal once more, coming on after the Australian left-hander had already hit three early boundaries and had to swing for just three from the next five balls without letting the visitors lose momentum, as it turned out.

Former England international Lauren Winfield-Hill remarked on BBC Two, “She gives you control as a bowler and you can’t have threat without control.”

Without her, I wonder where England will find stability.

Cross has been the consistent lead in that side for some time, despite not being particularly flashy.

What’s going on Wednesday?

In Nottingham, Trent Rockets host Birmingham Phoenix on the final day of the group stage.

At 15:00 BST, the women’s game begins, followed by the men’s match at 18:30 BST, at Trent Bridge.
