One in three people in Gaza go days without eating, according to UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
UNICEF urged the world to act quickly as the world’s conditions continue to worsen as a result of Israel’s genocidal war.
More than 320, 000 young children are currently at risk of acute malnutrition, according to Ted Chaiban, UNICEF’s deputy executive director for humanitarian action and supply operations, in a statement released on Friday following a recent trip to Israel, Gaza, and the occupied West Bank.
He claimed that Gaza’s malnutrition rate “exceeded the famine threshold.”
He said, “Today, I want to keep the focus on Gaza because it’s where children are dying at an unprecedented rate and the suffering is most acute there.”
The decisions made today will determine whether tens of thousands of children will live or die.
A doctor at al-Shifa Hospital reported to Al Jazeera that Atef Abu Khater, a 17-year-old Palestinian, had passed away from malnutrition on Saturday.
Khater, who had been well before the Gaza war, was taken into intensive care earlier this week, according to media reports, who quoted his father as saying he was no longer responding to treatment.
At least 60, 000 Palestinians have died as a result of Israel’s war against Gaza since October 7, 2023, including more than 18 000 children. Many more are still buried beneath the rubble, most likely dead.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza reports that there are 162 deaths from starvation, including 92 children.
Engineered Israeli genocidal chaos
Palestinians in the besieged territory are subject to “tragedy and torment” under Israeli bombardment, forced starvation, and a general feeling of insecurity, according to Ahmed al-Najjar, a journalist and resident of Gaza who lives in Khan Younis.
The mice will play with the cats out, but it’s not just a mouse, he claimed, underscoring that Gaza’s safety is “nowhere to be found.”
We are not just referring to the constant fear of Israeli bombs being dropped on our heads, but also the complete lack of power and security that causes us to be unsure and uneasy about our own safety, al-Najjar said.
He claimed that people are unsure whether they will be able to return home safely despite walking down the street and purchasing a bag of flour.
We’ve been witnessing the police forces being targeted repeatedly and systematically inside these “safe zones” here, which prohibits the presence of any kind of police or security forces in the streets.

Israel halted Gaza’s access to food aid in March. In late May, it eased the blockade, and GHF, a controversial organization supported by Israel and the United States, took over the distribution of aid in Gaza.
However, GHF has been accused of targeting civilians and grave rights violations. More than 1,300 Palestinians were killed while trying to get food from the GHF’s aid centers, according to the UN.
According to testimony from whistleblowers , many have been purposefully shot by Israeli soldiers or US security contractors hired by GHF.
International outcry over images of abused children and growing reports of deaths related to hunger prompted Israel to release more aid earlier this week as the Strip’s hunger spread.
Last week, the Israeli military set up new aid corridors and began a daily “tactical pause” of its military operations in some of Gaza.
Steve Witkoff, the US ambassador to Israel, and US President Donald Trump’s special envoy, also traveled to Gaza on Friday to check out the GHF aid distribution site.
In a post on X, Witkoff posted a photo of himself wearing a protective vest and meeting with staff at a distribution center that read, “The diplomats spent more than five hours inside Gaza.”
He continued, “Assisting with a plan to deliver food and medical aid to the people of Gaza,” adding that the trip was intended.
In Gaza, several Western and Arab governments started distributing aid to more than two million people in the first week of the week. However, aid organizations have expressed skepticism about the safety of airdrops in order to address Gaza’s growing hunger crisis.
Every mode must be used at this point, Chaiban said, adding that it is crucial to allow 500 humanitarian and commercial aid trucks into Gaza. However, airdrops cannot replace that volume and scale that road convoys can achieve.
Following “bullying” complaints, BBC bosses are said to be reviewing Nag Munchetty, who works on BBC Breakfast and BBC Radio 5 Live.

BBC presenter Naga Munchetty has reportedly been placed under review by BBC bosses after they received a number of complaints about alleged ‘hard’ and ‘bullying’ behaviour. Naga, 50, has been a regular face on breakfast television and has hosted the BBC Breakfast since 2014.
In addition, she hosts a Monday-to- Wednesday show on BBC Radio 5 Live. However, sources claimed that a number of coworkers complained about her “bullying” on both programs, with some claiming that the BBC has now moved to “place the complaints under review”
Naga’s representatives and the BBC have been contacted for comment by The Mirror.

BBC bosses reportedly put her under review(Image: BBC)
The insider told The Sun that the review will determine whether a thorough investigation is necessary, which could take several weeks.
We take all complaints about conduct at work very seriously and won’t tolerate behavior that is against our values, according to a BBC spokesperson. We have effective procedures in place, and we encourage all employees to report concerns to us in order to get their issues resolved.
The presenter may decide to leave her presenting positions at the publicly traded company following our previously reported reports.
According to reports, the TV star’s agents “had discussions” with the news radio station recently and that she had been looking for a new job and might be moving to a rival radio station LBC.

Despite being paid twice as much as her co-host Charlie Stayt on BBC Breakfast, reports claimed that she is “encouraging to leave” as a result of rumors of a new bullying row circulating the early-morning program.
After industry insiders complained about his conduct, it was reported that BBC Breakfast editor Richard Frediani, who has been editing the program since 2019, was taking an “extended leave” from the program last month.
The editor of the breakfast program allegedly swears and shouts at coworkers while governing the program. According to a source, Richard needed time to reflect because of the “doubtant” allegations.
Reports surfaced that Richard and Naga didn’t get along, and many staff members later defended Richard. Additionally, it is claimed that Charlie, Naga’s co-host, and Frediani also had a strained relationship.
Speaking in defence of Richard, one insider told the Mirror last month: “He is not a bully at all and the truth will come out. He’s a great boss and was – and is still – overwhelmingly loved by the team, who respect his drive, expertise, and journalistic ambition. He has delivered great audiences and the first ever Bafta for breakfast TV.
He can be opinionated and brash, but he works so hard for his team and encourages people to flourish.
Some people were unhappy with Naga after she raised concerns, according to another source who spoke to the Mirror. They stated that although he is old-fashioned and susceptible to stifling criticism, it always goes against the grain for great television.
It’s not meant to be a walk in the park because it’s the country’s top-rated breakfast program. Some people, including Naga, need to comprehend this. It seems as though a brilliant journalist has been turfed out by presenter power.

US President Donald Trump will move ahead with his most significant addition to the White House to construct a new $ 200 million ballroom right next to the mansion’s East Wing after paving over the Rose Garden and adding gold-filigree decorations to the Oval Office.
Trump, a former developer of real estate, has made repeated promises to construct a “beautiful” ballroom for the White House. He offered $100 million for the project during Barack Obama’s presidency in 2016, but the then-president turned down his offer.
However, press secretary Karoline Leavitt claimed that the White House will be “much needed and exquisite addition” and will have a seating capacity of 650 at a press briefing on Thursday.
The East Room, which can accommodate about 200 people, is where the White House’s formal functions are currently held. Construction is anticipated to be finished “long before” Trump’s term in office’s January 2029, according to Leavitt.
She added that other donors, such as the president, would support the renovations, but she declined to provide specifics. The ballroom will be similar in design to the rest of the mansion, according to renderings from the White House.
According to Leavitt, the “East Wing currently exists” will be constructed as the ballroom. When questioned about whether the East Wing’s demolition would require tearing down that section of the White House, she responded that it would.
Leslie Greene Bowman, a member of the Committee for the Preservation of the White House, told BBC News that “the White House has a history of expansion to accommodate the changing needs of the nation’s chief executive.”
What were those, then?
The White House was constructed when and how?
The White House was built in 1792 on the inspiration of Irish-born architect James Hoban. It was first occupied by President John Adams in 1800 despite his initial objections to moving in when it was seized by enslaved laborers and European craftsmen.
On the White House, physically demanding tasks were performed by enslaved laborers, such as removing stones, moving stones, and making bricks. They were typically hired out by their slavers, who received compensation for their labor.

In August 1814, British forces invaded and stoked the White House during the War of 1812 (also known as the Second War of Independence).
Almost immediately following, Hoban led the way under President James Madison.
In 1817, President James Monroe emigrated to the restored structure, and in 1824, he added the South Portico. During Andrew Jackson’s presidency, the North Portico was established in 1829, giving rise to the White House’s iconic exterior, as it is known today.
Amendments were gradually made throughout the 19th century. Gradually, furnishings, lighting, and running water were added. Electricity was installed in the White House in 1891 under President Benjamin Harrison.

What modifications did the White House undergo during the 20th century?
In 1902, President Theodore Roosevelt made one of the most significant structural adjustments. The presidential offices were moved from the second floor of the residence to a new West Wing after the old Victorian-style interiors were removed.
The State Dining Room, which had only 40 seats, was also enlarged by Roosevelt by removing a staircase and increasing its size to 100.

Under Harry Truman’s presidency (1945-1953), the White House underwent the biggest changes. Workers reconstructed the building’s interior using steel beams and concrete floors while Trump only removed the exterior walls.
On the South Portico, Truman also added a contentious second-floor balcony, sometimes referred to as the “Truman Balcony.” The White House underwent more subtle but still significant changes as presidents awaited.

The White House received significant technological advancements, including enhanced internet access and security, under Bill Clinton. The Abraham Lincoln Bedroom and several other historic areas were renovated by George W. Bush, including the press briefing room.

In recent years, Barack Obama has expanded Wi-Fi to the West Wing and White House. A portion of the White House’s existing tennis courts was also made for basketball use by Obama, a lifelong basketball fan.
Although there is no official figure, construction and renovation costs totaled roughly $250 million (at the current exchange rate). As a result, maintaining the US president’s residence and office costs a lot.
What other building projects are Washington, DC currently working on?
The ballroom project has a significant timing. Trump seized on a massive renovation project the US Federal Reserve (Fed) was working on to criticize Jay Powell, the chair of the central bank, just a week prior.
Trump made a quick estimate of the project’s high cost, which was roughly $ 2.5 billion to renovate two 1930s structures. Trump charged Powell with financial mismanagement during a eponymous presidential visit to the bank’s headquarters on July 24.
Office of Management and Budget Director Russell Vought, a Trump appointee, was also accused by Powell of handling the “ostentatious” refurbishment of the Fed’s Washington, DC, last month.
Trump has repeatedly urged the Fed to lower interest rates by 3%, and he has frequently posed the possibility of firing Powell, despite Trump’s claim that he has no intention of doing so. Trump referred to the Fed chief as a “numbskull” on July 22.
In light of the White House’s pressure on the US economy, the Federal Reserve maintained interest rates of 4.25 to 4.50 percent on July 30. This is on par with economists’ expectations.
EXCLUSIVE: Heather Small admits that James Small-Edwards, her son, was a hero when he deposed the Tories from the West Central London Assembly despite her fumblings.

Heather rarely talks about her son James, publicly, but was overcome with pride when talking about him defeating the Tories(Image: heathersmallmpeople/instagram)
She’s one of the most iconic singers, but Heather Small reveals one of her proudest moments is her son’s victory in the 2024 London Assembly election. The singer, 60, had been waiting with James Small-Edwards, a Labour councillor, and his peers on May 2, 2024, as the votes were counted as he became the West Central representative.
The Conservatives had been a member of the West Central London Assembly since 2000, and Heather was waiting with James as it was revealed he had defeated Tony Devenish to become the Assembly’s most recent representative.
Speaking exclusively to the Mirror at Hillsborough Stadium following her set at Tramlines Festival, the hitmaker said: “I don’t talk about my son so much, but I was there on the night. Let me tell you, it’s nerve-wracking, talk about nervous. I didn’t think that I would see that in my lifetime.

“I was proud, not just for my son, but for all those young people who canvassed. They really put heart and soul into it. There was fire in the belly, there was a passion. They were doing it for the right reasons, and that’s what made me proud. The level of work and strategy, they were smart with it, so it did make me very proud.” It comes after Jeremy Vine reveals what will happen if Joey Barton fails to pay staggering legal bill.
She referred to her performance on The T’Other Stage, which saw thousands of people crowded into the tent, as “for me, it was absolutely amazing.” She added:” What an audience reaction. Just a sea of people existed. It was a bit sparse because I arrived early for sound check, which was early.
“Then I came up on stage to a sea of people. It was joyous, I was so happy, I use the word happy, but to be happy isn’t easy. For half an hour to have people forget their troubles and be joyful, I would take that every day of the week.” But while Heather is known for lifting the mood of her fans, she admits she’s not sure if she’s personally had an impact on them.
She continued, “I know they like the songs and they like my voice,” adding, “Anytime I play the songs to a live audience, they understand that I’m a part of the community and a part of what’s happening. It’s not a them and us, I want them to enjoy the moment. As you can see, my goal is to.
I “own the stage,” and I sing my heart out. That’s what people expect, and that’s what they should expect. Some people have never seen you live, and I explain what a performance is. I take over when I’m on stage, which is what I should be doing. If you’re on stage, you don’t want people to take their eyes off the stage. There should be some fervor and excitement.
However, Heather doesn’t intend to slow things down because she only has a half-hour set and knows what people want. From bouncing to one side of the stage and shimmying to the other in the blink of an eye, she delivered her biggest hits, including Proud and Movin On Up.
She commented, “If it’s a festival, I want people to really be up for it and dancing,” adding that she meticulously plans her dynamic “half-hour set with” songs that everyone knows. Heather is in her 60s, but she is still in her happy place because she acknowledges that she is “quite fit,” which leads to her happiness.
Audience interaction is important for Heather, as it gives her energy”. I take care of myself, Heather said, adding, “I’ve always said, “What do you want to do in the future?” I’ve always wanted to sing. I always want to sing. My voice needs to remain intact. I want to do better than I should be. It doesn’t matter the size of the stage, I’m going to traverse it.
The hitmaker, who has sold over ten million records, admits she never wants to give up performing(Image: Redferns)
You must convey to others that you are singing for them and that you are also taking it all in.
She admits that strutting across the stage brings an element of joy to her performances, as fans don’t pay to see a “shrinking violet”, instead, they pay to see her “own the songs”, which she describes as “powerful” as she has “uplifted them” for a while.
She exclaimed, “It’s a privilege that people pay to come and see you, that they will take their time to come and sing along to every song. It’s an honor and a privilege.”
Heather admits to never putting her career on hold, whether she’s performing for 50 or for a limited number of dates on her tour. She’ll also be performing across the country in October with Wet Wet Wet.
The audience deserves that, she said, “every night it’ll be like it’s the first night.” She attempts to keep her performances “as fresh as possible,” noting that she doesn’t employ backing dancers but instead uses old school rock and roll to create her pop dance songs.
“I perform like an old rocker, it’s about everything – you think to yourself, Ozzy Osbourne, God rest his soul, how he performed, it was hot, it was sweaty, but there was somebody before him”, she commented.
She said, “Go out there and perform live, you have to. They’re expecting something slightly different from what they’re used to, whereas studying is one thing. Live to an audience is another. They want to see how you interact with your own songs, and then there’s the interaction with the audience”.
She tries to add a new dimension to her classics each time she performs, saying, “I’m here to entertain you and make you happy.” I choose the songs so that I can leave you feeling joyful. People have come to hear what you do best and some of your best songs.
There should be magic in the world. When they listen back and listen to those songs, I want them to fall in love with them when I leave the stage. Live shows are visual. “Despite selling over ten million records, while growing up in Ladbroke Grove, west London, Heather never imagined having the legacy she does now.
She questioned whether she anticipated leaving a significant impression on the music industry. “Not really,” she said. You hope for these things, she said, “You hope that people will suddenly start singing along when they hear a few beats.” I wanted to have songs that people resonated with as an audience.
Heather told me how she keeps her performances fresh, admitting that she makes the audience believe it’s her first time belting out her tracks(Image: Daniel Bird)
Why would I do it, then? I would stay in my bedroom, you do want people to enjoy what you do. Otherwise, why would you perform on stage? I felt like I had to do this because I wanted people to know. Every time I go on stage, it’s a joy for me. I’ve always wanted to do it and will continue to do it. I never want people to believe that I’ve grown complacent.
” I feel there’s an expectation on me that I should deliver. I’ve been doing it for a long time, and I’ve always found that people are eager to hear the songs, so I take them on stage and perform something they’re not expecting. That’s what I try to accomplish with each performance. Her 5ft4 frame and her larger-than-life persona stand out in stark contrast.
She said: “When you see some great performers, you know, you think to yourself, yeah, that’s larger than life. Freddie Mercury, Prince, Michael Jackson, Tina Turner, they get on stage. They fill that space.” Growing up though, larger than life musicians are the same people Heather admired.
What she listened to were singers like Gladys Knight, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Luther Vandross, who “tell a story” through their music. She said, “It takes you on a journey and causes you to experience some kind of emotion.” She added:” It makes you feel more than you are, you can achieve more than you thought. “
However, there is a singer called Nina Simone, who Heather acknowledges she will continue to listen to throughout her life. She writes a protest song, has it all, is feisty with it, has that distinctive voice, has that musicality, has fire, and is an all-round favorite, “she beamed.
Famed for her megahit Proud, which has been certified Gold, what is the one aspect of her career that makes her most proud”? That I’m still singing, Heather said. She continued, “That people still come to hear me sing. That is the most joyous, I couldn’t ask for more.
I prefer an audience over singing to myself or in my bedroom. I enjoy having an audience. An audience like today is magnificent, anybody can see why I still love doing it.
I enjoy doing this when I receive that kind of love and appreciation. What do you want to do? was a question asked back in the day. I always say keep singing. To the best of my ability, I look after myself, physically, mentally, and spiritually.
Katie Price, a former glamour model, and her three exes have five children: Dwight Yorke, Princess and Junior’s father, Peter Andre, and Jett and Bunny, who are both fathers of Kieran Hayler.
Katie Price admits she has to Google her five kids’ birthdays(Image: Instagram)
Mum-of-five Katie Price has admitted that she can’t remember her children’s birthdays off the top of her head, revealing she has to Google them if she needs to know their date of births. The former glamour model, 47, shares her kids with three of her exes, but confessed she doesn’t get bogged down in the details.
The model turned reality TV star did a joint interview with her former I’m A Celebrity… co-star Kerry Katona, with the old pals discussing their girls, Princess and Heidi, who have now become best mates. Atomic Kitten singer Kerry, 44, will be heading out on tour together, after their adult pantomime over Christmas saw them delight audiences with their on-stage chemistry.
An Evening With Katie Price And Kerry Katona will run from September to November, and will see the pair discuss their pasts to an audience, as well as belt out some obligatory ballads together. Between them, they have nine kids, who have also become close. It comes after Katie Price worries fans with appearance in family photo after explaining weight loss.

During an interview to discuss the upcoming UK tour, Katie admitted she struggles to remember her kids’ birthdays. Katie says: “Quite often if I need to remember something I think, let me Google it. If I have to fill out a form and do the kids’ dates of births, I Google it.” Katie is mum to Harvey, Junior, Princess, Jett and Bunny – she shares Harvey with ex Dwight Yorke, though he has no involvement with Harvey, while she has Junior and Princess with ex-husband Peter Andre and she has Jett and Bunny with ex-husband Kieran Hayler.
Speaking with the Sun, the pair discussed their children, and how they are encouraging them to capitalise on their mums’ fame, by making their own debuts on reality TV. Katie’s eldest Princess, who has just turned 18, is already dipping her toe in to the industry, and has filmed a documentary about the lead up to her birthday – but mum Katie was strictly banned from appearing in it.
Sophie and Princess can now go out together, she said in a conversation with her sister Sophie on their podcast. If some people would permit her to visit me.
She is known for making this documentary, but I’m not a part of it. Some people don’t believe that being with me with Princess is beneficial. People who used to care for me.

You, Katie, are not on brand. Katie, you’re too risky, her sister said. It is pitiful. Katie “snapped,” her mother, I am. It’s so depressing. When some people no longer look after me are now looking after her, Katie was later cut off by Sophie, who advised her to “save it for another day.”
Katie will take a backseat, according to The MailOnline, but dad Peter Andre and his wife Emily will appear in the new series. The decision has been made, and it is final, according to a source who spoke to the source. The show is all about Princess’s work and personal life, despite the fact that Princess loves her mother and they have a wonderful relationship.
Katie’s inclusion in television would not be a genuine and accurate insight into her life, according to television executives who were steadfast in their opposition. Princess will follow her until she turns 18 in June.
Katie and Kerry want their daughters to take on all the shows, but Katie is hoping it marks the beginning of her daughter’s television career. I met on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! They hope Heidi, Princess and Kerry’s daughter, will end up in the jungle with them one day, following the victory in 2004.

Imagine Princess and Heidi would be the best people to do the Jungle together, Kerry said. “I always say Love Island,” Katie added. It must be done by Heidi and Princess.
What an amazing memory, what an amazing adventure, is how I see it: forget management, forget fame. So I believe it’s amazing if Heidi spends three months there and has the best time. She added that everyone has a connection, somewhere, despite the fact that critics may be quick to lambaste their children as “nepo-babies.”
She continued, “I can unlock a door for you.” That’s on your own f****** merit, whether you get through that door or stay through it. Because of his stature, Brooklyn Beckham is sh*t.
