Victoria Beckham’s four-word comment to Geri Horner amid Spice Girls ‘feud’

As rumors about the fractious friendship between the Spice Girls continue to swirl, Victoria Beckham has reached out to Geri Halliwell-Horner on her 53rd birthday.

In the midst of rumors of a feud, Victoria Beckham has wished Geri Halliwell-Horner many happy days.

Victoria Beckham has wished Geri Halliwell-Horner many happy returns of the day amid rumours of a feud between the Spice Girls. The musicians formerly known as Posh and Ginger Spice raised eyebrows when they swerved Melanie Brown MBE’s wedding last month after reports that things between Ginger and Scary were still strained.

Mel B is yet to comment on Geri’s 53rd birthday today, however, Victoria did post a snap of herself and the mum-of-two, alongside Emma Bunton on Instagram. She captioned the photo: “Happy Birthday @gerihalliwellhorner!! Kisses @emmabunton xx.” It comes as Emma posted her own tribute to Geri earlier today as she wished her “beautiful friend” a happy birthday.

Spice Girls
Rumors still swirl about the fractious relationship between the Spice Girls.

Geri was said to be offended by Mel B after the outspoken singer claimed the pair slept together while the Spice Girls were still topping the charts. And when the Look At Me star swerved Scary’s nuptials in July, fans were convinced things were still awkward between the pair.

Geri, Victoria, or Mel C did not show their faces while Emma was spotted last month at Mel’s wedding in London. Victoria and Mel C apologized, claiming they had an untimely prior engagement. Geri’s silence, however, was kept.

But, a source told the Mirror that there was no feud between the Friendship Never Ends stars, adding that Geri, Mel C and Victoria simply had other commitments. “There’s no snub, the girls are all on friendly terms with one another, but it’s no secret that Geri is busy with Christian at Formula One and Victoria is extremely busy with her fashion brand,” they said.

It is thought that Victoria, who is now firmly focused on her fashion label, had international work commitments. At the time, Sporty Spice, also known as Mel C, was touring and performing in Rdovre, Denmark.

According to our source, Geri had a rumored breakup with Mel B, but this isn’t the case.

Instead, Ginger Spice was cheering on Christian Horner, who had just been fired from Formula One, at Silverstone’s British Grand Prix.

Paying tribute to his wife today, the former Red Bull boss, 51, shared a beaming snap of Geri as she posed proudly with her birthday cake.

Christian, who has seven sons with his wife, captioned the post, “Happy Birthday, my amazing wife,” before adding her.

The Spice Girls hoped to reunite for Mel’s second “spiritual” wedding in Morocco last weekend, but only Emma showed up.

However, Mel looked like she had a glorious time with hairdresser, Rory McPhee, and stunned in snaps with her new husband, in which she shone in a resplendent red beaded frock.

Following fruitful discussions with head coach Keith Andrews, Brentford forward Yoane Wissa has resumed first-team training. He is still looking to leave the club.

Following a fortnight of strained player-club relations, Wissa and Andrews addressed the team’s training facility on Wednesday morning.

Wissa has resumed senior training for the first time since he made the decision to leave Brentford’s pre-season base in Portugal on July 21 following the discussions.

The 28-year-old wants to move to Newcastle in the near future, which would give him the chance to play Champions League football, but he still wants to.

According to sources, Brentford may sell Wissa if the forward is valued at significantly more than the £25 million plus £5 million offer they received from Newcastle.

Finding and signing a replacement for Wissa is also said to be a factor in any potential moves prior to the September 1 transfer deadline.

Wissa participated in Brentford’s Premier League media day on Tuesday, where the squad was filmed and photographed for external broadcasters ahead of the new season.

It’s still to be seen if Wissa will play for the team to face Borussia Monchengladbach on Friday after missing Queens Park Rangers’ 1-0 friendly win on Saturday.

Brentford forward Yoane Wissa has returned to first-team training following constructive talks with head coach Keith Andrews but is still seeking a move away from the club.

Wissa and Andrews spoke at the team’s training ground on Wednesday morning following a fortnight of strained relations between player and club.

The talks have resulted in Wissa resuming senior training for the first time since he decided to leave Brentford’s pre-season base in Portugal on 21 July.

However, the 28-year-old still wants to secure a transfer to Newcastle during the current transfer window – a move that would provide him with an opportunity to play Champions League football.

Sources have told BBC Sport that Brentford will consider selling Wissa but value the forward at a figure significantly more than the £25million plus £5m offer they have received from Newcastle.

Identifying and signing a replacement for Wissa is also said to be a factor in any possible move ahead of the transfer deadline on September 1.

In addition to his return to training, Wissa was also part of Brentford’s Premier League media day on Tuesday, when the squad were filmed and photographed for external broadcasters ahead of the new season.

And having missed Saturday’s 1-0 friendly win over Queens Park Rangers, it now remains to be seen whether Wissa is part of the squad to face Borussia Monchengladbach on Friday.

Why does Oasis value Scotland so highly?

One night at King Tut’s in Glasgow on May 31, 1993, changed the band’s fortunes and music history.

Two of the bands he had recently signed were playing: 18 Wheeler and Boyfriend, as well as a band called Sister Lovers, and Creation Records boss Alan McGee had scheduled a birthday party there for his sister’s birthday drinks.

Sister Lovers, however, had unknowingly invited their Manchester friends along and informed Oasis they could also get a spot on the line-up.

After some back and forth, the band was permitted to play a few songs if they went on to play for a small crowd first and then begged and demanded to be moved on. Thankfully, McGee had already knocked back drinks because he had arrived too early.

They played a Rock’n’Roll star, McGee claims in his book How To Run an Indie Label. Who the hell is this, I was really surprised and wondered. ‘. Although I was anticipating the upcoming song to be rubbish, it was Bring It On Down, which was fantastic. Then I was already thinking about signing them in my head, Up in the Sky.

After the trio of songs, McGee’s sister became a fan as well, and the band then came to an end with “fantastic” The Beatles I Am The Walrus, which McGee approached Mark Coyle, the band’s sound guy, to introduce Noel the band’s leader.

Noel explains in the documentary Supersonic: “Alan McGee and I walk up to the mixing desk and ask “what’s your band called,” and I respond, “Oasis,” with the exact words he says in his own words. Do you want a record deal? ‘.

No one high-fiving in the back of the van when we kind of went back that night and said, “This is it.” We were also being ambivalent about it, I can’t recall. At 6 o’clock in the morning, we were returning to Manchester and entering the area where I was a resident.

Noel, Liam, and Bonehead met with the Creation team on a train from Manchester to London before McGee agreed to sign them.

Why is Scotland so important to Oasis?

The band’s luck and the history of music changed thanks to one night in Glasgow at King Tut’s on May 31, 1993.

Creation Records boss Alan McGee had arranged to meet his sister there for birthday drinks and two of the bands he had recently signed were playing – 18 Wheeler and Boyfriend, as well as a band called Sister Lovers.

But unbeknown to him, Sister Lovers had invited their friends from Manchester to come along, telling Oasis they could get a spot on the line up too.

The band had to beg and demand to get on and after a bit of back and forth, were allowed to play a handful of songs if they went on first to play for a tiny crowd. Thankfully McGee had arrived too early so was already there knocking back drinks.

McGee writes in his book How To Run An Indie Label: “They played Rock’n’Roll star and it sounded great. I was really surprised and thought ‘who the f**k this?’. I was thinking the next song will be rubbish but it was Bring It On Down and that was great as well. Then it was Up In The Sky and I was already signing them in my head.”

McGee’s sister was also a fan after the trio of songs, and the band then finished with The Beatles I Am The Walrus which was “fantastic” and McGee approached the band’s sound guy Mark Coyle for an introduction to the band’s leader which was Noel.

In the documentary Supersonic, Noel explains: “I’m up by the mixing desk with Coyley, Alan McGee walks up and says ‘what’s your band called’ and I said ‘Oasis’ and these were his exact words he said ‘do you want a record deal?’.

“We kind of went back that night, I don’t remember anybody high-fiving in the back of the van thinking ‘this is it’. I don’t remember us being nonchalant about it either. We were going back to Manchester and getting into where I was living at 6’o’clock in the morning.”

McGee signed them up after Noel, Liam and Bonehead took a train from Manchester to London and met with the Creation team.
