Jo Wood details heartbreaking journey following split from Ronnie Wood

Jo Wood, who was married to Ronnie Wood, and the Rolling Stone guitarist, revealed she had to learn the pieces and show she could handle things alone after breaking up with the actor.

Following their split, Jo Wood reveals her fervour to prove she wasn’t a victim.

After 24 years of marriage to one of the world’s most renowned guitarists, Jo Wood could be forgiven for wanting to hide away from the world as she struggled to navigate life on her own, following her split with Ronnie Wood.

And while it took time for her to come to terms with the new chapter of her life, Jo, 70, has now revealed that she was determined to prove she could lead a healthy and successful life without the Rolling Stone star.

She stated in a recent interview that she needed to show that she wasn’t a “victim” in light of her recent split. When Jo and Ronnie tied the knot in 1985, their engagement ring came to an end in 2009.

She stated in an interview with The Times, “I learned that I can say to myself, “I’m not a victim, I can still enjoy a good life. I completely let go when I was deeply broken-hearted. I didn’t shave anything, just my legs. I was completely miserable.

Ronnie has now re-married to Sally Humphries and the coupled wed in 2012. The pair have twin daughters together. Jo recently bumped into her ex-husband at a hotel in Barbados with Sally and their children.

However, it appears that everyone involved is as friendly as possible, with Jo even describing the situation as “putting on a comfy pair of old slippers”

Jo Wood has since launched her own organic body care line, Jo Wood Organics, and has since achieved great success since breaking up with Ronnie.

However, she countered by writing her book that Ronnie’s story was “not about Ronnie,” and that the editor at the time wanted more emotion.

Jo instead stated that she has worked hard to forgive the rock star because it “sets you free.”

Leah and Tyrone, Ronnie and Jo have two children, are they? Additionally, the couple had two stepchildren from previous relationships. Jo and Ronnie both had sons named Jesse and Jamie from their first marriages, and Jo is the mother of Jamie and designer Peter Greene.

Despite their public split, Jo said that she could happily call Ronnie if she had to but claims that she could do the same with Keith Richards, as she “didn’t do anything wrong.”

She stated to the Daily Mail, “When you have children and grandchildren, I think it’s important… I like to know that I can say, “The kids have been, you know, even though they’re grown up.” Talk to them, please!

The businesswoman no longer practices a party lifestyle and now resides in her rural home to enjoy a self-sufficient lifestyle. She is even planning to introduce a supplement called Longevity for additional health advantages.

Although Jo’s partying style is still present, her grandchildren still refer to her as the “Gangster Gran.” Jo adheres to the moral compass, which explains why she pleaded guilty to drug use in her youth and admitted it to her grandchildren.

She stated in an interview on Good Housekeeping UK’s podcast, My Life in a Biscuit Tin, that she had been driving with their two grandchildren, Maggie and Kobe, while they were laughing.

They then said, “Gran, have you used any drugs?” I responded, “Of course, but I don’t suggest it.” Because it only caused me to have a lot of sleepless nights, I said.

They will discover that you can’t be dishonest. I tried to warn them that it was a waste of time, but I was in a very special circumstance. Then they said, “We’re going to call you Gangster Gran from now on.”

England unsure if Stokes will bowl on fifth day

According to assistant coach Marcus Trescothick, England will “wait and see” whether captain Ben Stokes is fit to bowl in their final Test match against India at Old Trafford.

At the end of day four, India led by 137 runs to reach 174-2 after taking five wickets in the first innings but did not bat.

Trescothick claimed that because Stokes was “a bit stiff and sore” on day three, which has been plagued by injury issues in recent years and was forced to retire hurt after batting with cramp on day three.

According to Trescothick, “We are still hopeful he will be better tomorrow, come back, be a little looser, and ready to go again,” the BBC Test Match Special said.

Vice-captain Ollie Pope responded to questions about Stokes’ fitness on Friday evening, saying that he was “good to go.”

It is concerning that Trescothick doubted his ability to play a role on Sunday and that he did not bring himself into the attack when he scored 141 in the morning session, which was his first Test century in two years.

He frequently bent over while his hands were on his knees and felt a pain in his left hamstring at one point in the afternoon.

When Chris Woakes dismissed Sai Sudharsan and Yashasvi Jaiswal, his team appeared to be on the verge of victory, but Shubman Gill and opener KL Rahul, who had batting out the final 62.1 overs of the day, gave India hope of batting out the series’ final day for a draw, putting them one game away from the series’ end, put them 2-1 up at the Oval.

Former England captain Michael Vaughan remarked, “Ben Stokes chased one to deep extra cover, he held his hamstring, that was visible for everyone to see.”

“We’ll see,” the statement read. At times, Ben is a superhuman. He was probably anticipating today that neither he nor they would need him.

Stokes had surgery on his left hamstring in January after torn it last summer. He also underwent knee surgery in November 2023.

He only started bowling again in the late May of that year’s Test against Zimbabwe.

Stokes hasn’t lost a single seamer for England this summer. His 16 wickets in a series are the most of either side.

Despite Trescothick saying he may have to manage his bowling workload after the second hamstring injury in December, Trescothick claims that the 129 overs he has bowled represents his biggest workload in a single series. The fifth Test will take place next week with only three days off.

Trescothick argued that Stokes will need to be protected as England’s management searches for a way to win the Ashes in Australia later in the year.

You must supervise everyone, with him no exception because of his impact as team captain. You want him to play as many games as possible.

It will benefit, of course, if we can find a way to limit his overs. The better for the team the more games he’ll put together as captain and leader.

After joining Leeds United for the seventh time this summer, goalkeeper Lucas Perri described it as a “dream come true.”

The 27-year-old Brazilian has signed a four-year contract with Elland Road from French side Lyon in a deal worth a reported £15.6 million.

He kept 13 clean sheets in all 45 matches for Lyon last season, helping them qualify for European football by finishing sixth overall.

I began looking for videos of the stadium, the atmosphere, the games, the highlights of the plays, and the matches when I first learned that the interest might actually grow.

“It was a really exciting time for me,” she said. I was extremely pleased that the club showed interest. It was incredible. I’m very, very happy to sign up here.

Perri moved from Sao Paulo to Botafogo and Lyon before beginning his career there.

His nation’s under-20 and under-23 caps are for him.

With seven games left, Frenchman Illan Meslier lost his place in Karl Darlow with a series of errors, who had been at the top of the table for the majority of the previous season when Leeds won the Championship.

Son of 90s singer jailed for 10 years after message identified famous dad

The famous lead singer’s son, who sold cocaine, ketamine, cannabis, and heroin, was involved in multi-million dollar drug deals and given a 10-year and eight-month sentence.

A famous drug dealer, who was 30 years old, was arrested and put in jail for ten years after being tracked down by police.

He was uncovered by a team of specialist investigators after receiving a father’s music teacher messages. Even a member of their drug network emailed his son a picture of his famous father and said things that confirmed their relationship.

Thomas Hooton, the son of The Farm lead singer Peter Hooton, has been jailed and sentenced to ten years and eight months for the supply of cocaine, ketamine, cannabis and heroin. The 30-year-old drug dealer, who had previously pleaded guilty to conspiring to supply drugs, was using the name “Ownraptor” and quickly became a trusted broker of multi-million pound drug deals.

Thomas also claimed that his “arl fella,” or “arl fella,” had organized the insurance and that he was driving a black Audi A3. Thomas was given a Friday sentence at Liverpool Crown Court.

Thomas made the decision to enter a guilty plea following his arrest by Merseyside’s Organised Crime Partnership in April of this year.

He had been using the messaging service EncroChat to broker his drug deals which reportedly had the street value of an estimated £1.3million. Police were also able to detect that he had been using more than 40 names for contact and had also set up a county lines supply that covered Scotland, north-east and the south of England.

“Hooton was involved in the supply of 42.5 kg of cannabis, 3.25 kg of heroin, 10 kg of cocaine, and 1 kg of ketamine,” according to a National Crime Agency spokesman.

They added: “His messages said he was in possession of around £400, 000 and owed £258, 000”. Five years ago, according to reports, his arrest occurred between March 26 and June 4.

It is obvious that Hooton had a long history of involvement with organized crime before being charged, according to Detective Chief Inspector Lynsay Armbruster. It will have taken a while for his criminal and geographic reach to come into existence. His drug supply operations spanned the UK while working with serious criminals and were almost daily.

A European investigation team deactivated EncroChat in 2020.

Kelly Osbourne shares sweet ‘best ever’ moment with dad Ozzy days after death

Kelly Osbourne shared a sweet moment between the two on social media that was hailed as “one of the best Ozzy moments ever,” as she grieves her father’s passing.

As the world comes to terms with the tragic death of Ozzy Osbourne, his daughter Kelly Osbourne has shared one of her favourite moments with her iconic dad. In an Instagram upload, the 40-year-old shows off the father and daughter duo enjoying a touching moment in a post labelled: “One of the best Ozzy moments ever!”

The video, which featured the family members enjoying a road trip together, was reshared on Kelly’s Instagram Stories. Kelly occupies the huge campervan in the upload, which was made by reality TV’s Jack &amp, Ozzy’s World Detour.

Kelly says she has a “song in my head and I’m going to have to play it for you” as Ozzy enters and sits in the passenger seat while wearing his customary dark attire. His daughter sets up the song, which makes The Prince of Darkness seem interested.

Ozzy is strapping himself in for the ride, but Paradise by George Ezra starts playing over the car’s speakers. Kelly begins to sing along as her father intently explains.

The Black Sabbath man begins to dance and bounce in his seat after a brief while before it becomes apparent that the song has caught his or her eye. The pair dance together on the journey while simultaneously beaming a sweet smile in Kelly’s direction as she sings.

The clip ends with Kelly being heard declaring her love for him. He responds “I love you more,” and “I love you.”

Ozzy, who had been fighting Parkinson’s disease, passed away earlier in the week at the age of 76. Kelly broke her social media silence with a heartbreaking statement a day after his death was revealed.

She described the rock legend as “the best friend I ever had” in her upload. Kelly stayed by her father’s side throughout his final days, which made the two of them irresistible.

She shared a heartwarming video of the musician and his grandson, her young son, at the breakfast table just two days before his passing. I’m so sad, Kelly wrote on Instagram, “I feel so bad.” My closest friend, who I’ve ever had, was lost.

The song’s title, Changes, is a line from his hit song. Kelly and Ozzy re-recorded the song in 2003. Ozzy and his bandmates co-wrote the song, which Black Sabbath did for the first time in 1972.

The lyrics in Kelly’s version with her dad were modified to reflect her feelings for him. A No. to the song. They were the only father-daughter duo to surpass Frank and Nancy Sinatra in 1967, and they were the first to chart.

A source shared with People about Ozzy’s last moments. They said: “Ozzy’s final days were spent in England, surrounded by family, music and in the place he called home. He was in peace.”
