Friends actress makes major career move as she steps away from acting

When Friends first appeared on television in 1994, the cast had some of the most recognizable faces in the business, but one actor has since left the field altogether.

The Friends cast haven’t been able to escape from their character’s names since the show first aired in 1994. However, one star has moved far away from the sitcom as she reveals her surprising career change.

A huge storyline in the NBC sitcom was Ross Geller’s (David Schwimmer) unfortunate love life, which all started off with his first wife Carol (Jane Sibbett). The couple shared son Ben, although Carol left Ross for Susan Bunch, played by Jessica Hecht.

The first lesbian wedding to be shown on network television was the episode “The One with the Lesbian Wedding,” which aired on NBC on January 18, 1996, making history with the on-screen relationship between the two.

Jane, who starred in 15 of the NBC sitcom’s 15 episodes between 1994 and 2001, has a very different career as an energy healer.

The 62-year-old relocated from California to Hawaii more than ten years ago to pursue an energy healing career. When I use the dancing hands, it’s not me, Jane said in a conversation about the transition from acting to healing and spirituality with people. I only experience bliss, joy, and love when I’m in this state because the energy is flowing through me.

Before moving to Hawaii, Jane and her hosted goddess circles for women in groups ranging from 15 to 100.

Later, the couple started a production company, but they later split while residing in Hawaii. She told the publication, “I was on my knees because I was really broken hearted by everything,” and part of that was her stuff.

Then, she accepted her new job as a “energy healer.” She said, “I wouldn’t call it Reiki.” I wasn’t even trained in Reiki, so I couldn’t even begin to dance [my hands]. I have faith in it, and I can trust it, but it’s just not my thing. This was not taught. This was just released in its entirety right away.

In 2020, Jane opened up about the backlash she received from viewers for playing lesbian character Carol on the hit sitcom.

She stated in an interview with Now To Love that, “It suddenly became apparent that there was a responsibility to be able to stand up for what was wrong, including my own father, who had a really difficult time with that.”

Before the show’s opening, the actress revealed that she had been approached to audition for Rachel Green’s Jennifer Aniston role at first.

She was pregnant at the time, so she was unable to take the part.

My leg keeps letting me down, despite the unpleasant conditions and aches and pains I can deal with. I cycled out the pitstop determined to make it as far as I could toward the stadium and attempted to run into Villa Park after being told at the last pit stop that I could try to run the final few kilometers to test my leg and recover.

“I’ll do it if I have to wake up at 4 am every morning for the rest of the week to finish this,” I said. By Friday, I’ll be arriving in Manchester. I’m so appreciative of everyone who has already stepped up and donated, which is what keeps going.

His best pal Pete Wicks shared his support for the radio star during his challenge. Sam burst into tears upon seeing his close pal.

Sam clocks Pete, 36, who rushes over to give his friend a big hug while being seen as sweating, limping, and bandaged up in his knee.

The I’m A Celebrity winner, who was clearly stunned, cried and spluttered, saying, “Thank you so much for coming,” “Pete said:” Don’t be silly. as if I had no intention of coming. You are so amazing. You’re killing it, yo!

Pete insisted that you are smashing it, but Sam conceded, “I’m not smashing it.” Do you have any plans? You’re smashing it, then.

Sam then said, “I’m not the guy, man,” in a heartbreaking manner. Pete said, “You are the guy, and you are the guy,” making his friend even tighter. You were the guy before this began, and you are now.

An actor who rose to fame on Skins before starring in international projects for the likes of Netflix has announced that he needed surgery after sustaining an injury recently. He has now told fans that he spent two weeks in hospital.

Sebastian de Souza, 32 – who is best known for playing Matty Levan on the E4 show – has shared that he fractured part of his leg after falling off a bike in London. He revealed on Instagram last week that he needed an operation on his “mangled knee” at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington.

His post included photos, including several of Sebastian – who recently starred in Netflix’s the Life List – lying in a hospital bed. He’s seen with a bandaging on his left leg in several photos and appeared to sport a cast at one point.

Sebastian, who showcased a shorter hairstyle in some selfies that were included in the post, wrote in the caption: “New Hair! New Normal! Dear Souzles, forgive the radio silence! Three weeks ago I broke my leg falling off my bike.”

Sebastian continued: “Some very, very kind people (the first of thousands of kind people who have gone out of their way to help me recently – you know who you are and I will never be able to repay you) got me to St Mary’s Hospital Paddington, where I was whisked through the extraordinary A&E department by the gorgeous paramedics, doctors, nurses, domestic and administrative staff, all of whom made to feel so welcome and comfortable and safe.”

He then said that it turned out he had a tibial plateau fracture, which is understood to be a break in the upper part of the shin bone, and “needed an operation”. He however said that his “mangled knee” wasn’t as bad as some other patient’s injuries so he had to wait for the procedure.

Sebastian said: “St Mary’s is one of the best trauma centres on planet earth and so, naturally, there were lots of poor people with injuries far graver than mine queuing up for operations that needed doing quickly, which meant my mangled knee would have to wait a little bit before getting patched up.”

He continued by saying that he spent time on wards at the hospital whilst waiting for surgery. The actor – whose credits include shows like Medici: The Magnificent, Normal People and the Great – described that two week period as the “most wonderful, inspiring, insightful, love-filled fortnight”.

Sebastian added: “I have never been treated with such kindness, care, respect, sensitivity and love. Nor have I ever seen such professionalism and compassion shown so consistently by anyone to everyone, ever. During my two weeks with you I witnessed selflessness and charity and generosity of spirit the like of which one never sees these days. Behaviour rarer than magic.”

In the caption of his post, he continued: “Thank God for @nhsengland @nhsenglandldn . As far as I’m concerned the NHS is the greatest institution ever invented and should be supported, protected and celebrated at all costs. Forever.”

Sebastian concluded by apologising for his “lengthy message” and said that he just wanted to say the “biggest thank you imaginable” to the staff at St Mary’s Hospital. He added: “And an equally massive thank you to my incredible family and extraordinary friends – the most remarkable, steadfast, loyal and supportive on Earth – for helping me crutch my way through this fascinating new chapter!”
