People have been saying the same thing about Marks and Spencer’s recent major changes that have affected how customers can purchase its goods. The retailer’s new summer fashion has caused the same thing.
After seeing the “stunning” new collection of summer clothing, Marks and Spencer customers have all voiced the same grievances. The well-known retail chain, which was founded in Leeds in 1884, is still a hot item on the high street in the UK thanks to its high-quality, on-trend clothing, accessories, homeware, food, and more.
How people shop at the store has experienced a significant change in the wake of a recent “cyber incident” that started in April and initially affected customers’ ability to make contactless payments and for the company to process click-and-collect orders across multiple UK stores.
M&, S’s CEO, Stuart Machin, apologized to customers on April 22 in a statement and stated that while the well-known high street retailer was “managing” the issue, it was still “necessary” to make a number of “small changes” to “store operations” on a temporary basis while the situation was managed.
The CEO emphasized that the stores were still open and that the app and website were still operational at the time. This is no longer the case.
While the issue is lingering, the business stopped accepting online orders on April 25. The disruption is anticipated to persist throughout June and July.
M&, S uses social media to keep customers informed about what’s in store, like many other retailers.
The retailer shared a carousel of images in a recent post on its main Instagram account that features a number of items that are suitable for the warmer summer months. Marks and Spencer simply wrote, “New month, new ‘fits,” in the caption that came with the post. That is correct, right?
A striped waistcoat and trousers, a pair of long cut-off shorts, a black tie-detail top and matching midi skirt, and a light halter neck dress are on display.
Many shoppers shared the same grievance, despite the items being quickly praised in the comments section.

Another person remarked, “I haven’t been able to buy one piece of clothing in store because there’s never a smaller size or petite range in store.”
A third person lamented: “Being as though we still can’t order online, you really need to make sure you are stocking your stores sufficiently, I had to walk out empty-handed yesterday, with no swimwear in my size. First world problems, granted, but still.”
Someone else expressed their disappointment that I live too far away from a store, and that I hope to return to online shopping by the summer.
