Golden child Romeo Beckham stepped up in brother Brooklyn’s absence to deliver a speech at his dad’s 50th birthday, we can reveal. Football legend David Beckham celebrated his 50th birthday in style this weekend with a lavish dinner and party at Core restaurant in London’s Notting Hill.
David’s youngest children Romeo Beckham, 22, Cruz Beckham, 20, and Harper Beckham, 13 were all present and arrived at the bash together in a show of unity. But Brooklyn Beckham, 26, and his wife Nicola Peltz-Beckham, 30, were not at the party and have not attended any of Beckham’s birthday events in the last week. So it fell on Romeo as second eldest to deliver a speech at Core restaurant on Saturday.

When he arrived at the venue, he could see the first of several cue cards in his hand. Romeo addressed the crowd, “Good evening everyone. I want to start by thanking everyone who is here tonight. He wouldn’t be half as successful as he is now, I know without the support of many of you in tonight. However, to the current “man.” Then, according to what he knows, he reportedly praised his father, who he described on social media as “the most amazing role model.”
Romeo also delivered another recent speech last month during the Miami pre-birthday celebrations in front of his parents, according to photos he posted from April 10. Romeo’s brother was unlikely to attend, and he may have planned a speech for this weekend, it seems.
His older brother, in contrast, was invited but never attended any of the birthday celebrations.

Despite jetting to London from their LA home last week, Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz did not attend the weekend celebrations, much to David and Victoria’s disappointment.
Brooklyn hasn’t posted any messages about his dad’s milestone on his own social media, despite claims that it is “all about Nicola.”
The couple did not attend the Beckhams’ £10 million Cotswolds mansion party on Wednesday evening or family celebrations in France.
However, David had family and friends to spend the weekend with up until 3am.
Other guests included actor Tom Cruise, ex-footballer Gary Neville, and TV chef Gordon Ramsay.

Neville, who turned 50 a few months ago, expressed his condolences on social media. He declared, “Happy 50th mate. The best is you! For the first time in your life, hold on tight and reflect on everything you’ve accomplished and accomplished in these first 50 years.
We’ve won, lost, laughed, and cried together, but our relationship has been the most incredible. Our parents and kids are still present in the crowd. You have done everything with care, effort, and humility. I have a lot of confidence in you, and more importantly, I have faith in you. I wish you the best of luck.

“We’ve won, lost, laughed and cried but had the most incredible times together. I can still see our mums and dads in the crowd. Everything you’ve done has come through humility, care and hard work. I’m proud of you and more importantly trust you with my life. All my love to you.”

Huge congratulations to you both, Su-Elise Nash from Mis-Teeq said. We’re so happy for you, love you all, and we’re so happy for you! Welcome to parenthood.
One person wrote: “OMG I am so happy for you. You and @enas_daeki_ will be the best mummy and daddy. Congratulations you two,” and another delighted fan commented: “Congratulations my brother, welcome to the club!”
Tre, who tied the knot to Enas Daeki in 2023, previously discussed being an older dad after announcing his wife’s pregnancy last year. He said he sometimes, in ‘his weaker moments’, questions whether he waited too long to become a father.
I do consider it because I’ll be somewhere between 70 and 71 when my child will graduate from college! And by the time it graduates, he told MailOnline, I’ll be somewhere around 75.
I consider whether I’ll be still in good health and well.
He also acknowledged that Lord Sugar’s son, who would be “alright” with the business mogul, would make the ideal godparent for his child.
Can you imagine the wisdom that child would possess if Lord Sugar were to be their godparent, he continued.

To wrap up a dreamy weekend for Godolphin’s owners, Desert Flower won the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket.
After claiming his first victory in the Fillies’ Classic, jockey William Buick led Charlie Appleby’s evens favorite to victory ahead of Flight and Simmering, the Ollie Sangster duo.
The unbeaten Desert Flower won the 2000 Guineas for Buick and trainer Appleby, which came after Ruling Court’s previous victory on Saturday.
Since 2005’s victories with Virginia Waters and Foostepsinsthesands, Appleby and Buick are the first trainer and jockey duo to win the 1000 and 2000 Guineas in the same year.
What a weekend for Godolphin! I’m a very happy man, and I’m an amazing filly. I can’t express how excited I am to be a part of this,” Buick said.
“This is what dreams are made of,” he said. Being the jockey on these horses is a real privilege to me.
He added that “She’s all classy and may even go a little further” and that the Oaks at Epsom might be on the agenda for June 6th.
Desert Flower is currently priced between $25,000 and $25,000, which Buick made all the way up.
Sangster, the grandson of the late, illustrious owner-breeder Robert, was delighted with the performances of Simmering (33-1) and Flight (28-1) in his only previous training season.
“We’re delighted,” Second and third are fantastic, he said, “but we’re all here because we want to win.”
Meanwhile, Kieran Shoemark acknowledged that his team was too late to catch winner Ruling Court after misinterpreting his ride on popular Field of Gold on Saturday in the 2000 Guineas.
