Eamonn Holmes, a host of GB News, reportedly heard wedding bells as he continued to develop with Katie Alexander, who has since broken her silence.

Eamonn Holmes and his girlfriend Katie Alexander have been surrounded by engagement rumours after months of secret date nights and lavish getaways. The GB News host, 65, and marriage consellor, 43, finally made their romance Instagram official a year on from his split with Ruth Langsford.

Katie and the broadcaster enjoyed a number of romantic photos while setting up a joint account on her own. After being together since 1996 and having been married since 2010, Eamonn and wife Ruth split in a bold move.

Last year, it was reported the divorce hadn’t put Eamonn off tying the knot again. On their romantic trip to Paris, Katie was spotted with a sparkling ring on her engagement finger as they stepped out the Louvre.

With the release of a new selfie, Katie has finally dispelled the rumors that the couple are engaged. She flashed a massive diamond ring while posing in a striped shirt.

She captioned the post, “Time for a coffee in between clients”? Before her followers jumped to conclusions, Katie took the time to clarify any misunderstood.

Katie recently updated her Instagram followers about her romantic relationship with Eamonn. With The Levellers’ song What a Beautiful Day playing over it, Katie captioned a few photos with “Lovely weather.” The sun emoji and “lovly company” are included.

As they posed for the camera in one photo, Katie rests her chin on Eamonn’s shoulders. As they soaked up the sun, both wore sunglasses.

Another photo of the blonde beauty with her wheelchair-bound dog, Dottie, and Eamonn sported a polka dot dress.

In December, reports hinted Eamonn could be ready to take the next step with Katie. “Eamonn has been talking openly about his plans to marry Katie and has made it clear he wants to spend the rest of his life with her,” a source told the Sun.

He is aware that their relationship is already live together, and he is aware of how appropriate it is. They get along very well and have a very strong relationship.

However, it appears that Katie and her ex-husband have had a setback because she has since decided to co-parent their two teenagers in Yorkshire.

After leaving the man’s house he shared with Ruth, she will not be moving to London to spend more time with her. Eamonn currently lives in a penthouse apartment in Kingston.

When the former This Morning power couple announced their split in May, they made a blatant statement that read, “Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are going through a divorce.”

Eamonn and Ruth have barely spoke about the split in the year since, however the Loose Women star made a rare comment about how she was doing.

Anyone who experiences a breakup in a relationship is hard enough to deal with, she told Woman and Home Magazine. Most people don’t have to go through a divorce in the public eye, where everyone writes about you and writes about you in comments. It’s very difficult and painful, but most people don’t.

“But that’s the nature of my job,” she said. You shouldn’t be doing this job if you have that in you, because I have it always. Being by myself is acceptable, but not forever.

When you’re in a relationship, it’s simple to say, “Great, I’ve got a weekend to myself,” but when you consider it might be every weekend, it’s a different story.

Tottenham defeat Manchester United to win Europa League final

Tottenham won the Europa League title with a 1-0 win over Manchester United, earning it its first European title in more than four decades.

Tottenham won its first major title since winning the English League Cup in 2008, and it won its first European title since 1984 when it won the second UEFA Cup, or the equivalent of the Europa League.

At the conclusion of the opening period of the season, Spurs will finish near the bottom of the Premier League standings, and Brennan Johnson scored the winner on Wednesday.

Spurs will now be eligible for the Champions League next season, and the title relieves manager Ange Postecoglou, who had struggled all year to keep his team on track.

Six years after Tottenham lost in the Champions League final to Liverpool, the victory comes as a result.

Ruben Amorim’s United team is now in 16th place in the Premier League, just ahead of Tottenham, under increased pressure from the defeat. Next season, the club won’t compete in any European competitions.

On Wednesday, United almost had an equalizer when Rasmus Hojlund’s header was saved at the goal line by Tottenham’s Micky van de Ven.

A difficult save from Tottenham goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario was caused by a header from Luke Shaw well into stoppage time.

Before Tottenham scored in the 42nd minute following a cross from Pape Sarr into the area, the game had been evenly played and neither team had many good chances to score.

Shaw ricocheted the ball off and fell in front of Johnson, who appeared to have squandered it just wide.

In front of a crowd of nearly 50 000 at Athletic Bilbao’s San Mames Stadium, United continued to advance after conceding, but they were unable to score the equaliser.

United’s most recent triumph was at the 2017 Europa League under Jose Mourinho, who won the 2024 FA Cup.

The Red Devils have lost all four of their matches this season against Tottenham, and they have won just six of those against Postecoglou.

In the 2009 League Cup, when United defeated Tottenham 4-1 on penalties after drawing 0-0, the two teams had previously met in a final.

Son Heung-min, a Tottenham striker who came off the bench in the 67th, finally came to an end to his ten-year trophy drought with the club.

Spurs Stun Utd To Win Europa League, End 40-Year Continental Trophy Drought

With a spirited 1-0 victory over Manchester United in the Europa League final on Wednesday, Brennan Johnson’s scrambled goal put an end to a 17-year trophy drought for Tottenham.

Spurs will compete in the Champions League next year, but failing to do so would be a huge financial blow for Manchester United. The team hasn’t won European silverware since 1984.

Spurs are currently second only to United in the lower division of the Premier League table despite their success at Bilbao. Manager Ange Postecoglou’s future is still in doubt following a disastrous domestic campaign.

The Australian made up his mind that he was “not a clown” on the eve of the final and had the best laugh as he realized he had won every trophy in his second year in charge of the club.

Wales winger Johnson told TNT Sports, “This is what it’s all about, this club hasn’t won a trophy in 17 years, this is what it means, it means so much.”

“We got it done,” according to people who have spoken to me since I have arrived, “purchasing is a good team, but they never get it done”!

Fans from all over the stadium of Athletic Bilbao, some taking absurd routes and sleeping in cars to avoid eye-watering prices, were unable to escape a final that was subpar.

The essence of the game was a team that was struggling in 16th and 17th place, respectively, after poor Premier League campaigns, and the result was a prize on the line that overawed.

There were numerous turnovers, with neither side able to control the ball with ease, moves that ended in panicked defense, balls that were thumped to safety, and clumsy fouls all around.

Early in the second half, Harry Maguire successfully blocked Pape Sarr for Tottenham after Johnson snipped in ahead of Luke Shaw to break in down the right.

Despite having the worst Premier League season in a generation, Manchester United fans chanted Ruben Amorim’s name.

Amad Diallo, 22, one of the few players who is obsessed with self-worth, flashed a shot across goal before fleeing in search of Destiny Udogie, who had to look him in vain.

After 42 minutes, Spurs made a breakthrough that was undoubtedly a very scrappy goal.

Sarr, a Tottenham midfielder, curled in a cross to Johnson’s near post after only one pass at this point.

The winger’s attempted flick sprang off Shaw’s shoulder, brushed Johnson’s boot once more, and sped over the goal line in slow motion, with Andre Onana unable to use a desperate arm to stop it.

Defending the Deep

Spurs sat back in the second half as they attempted to defend their slim advantage and reclaim the lead in the counterattack.

When Yves Bissouma played in Dominic Solanke, the striker was unable to control the pass, which caused a bad outcome.

When Tottenham goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario came off his line, Manchester United almost had a lead when a set-piece was slashed forward from deep.

Rasmus Hojlund had the ball dropped, but Micky van de Ven sensationally cleared his header over the stranded Spurs stopper.

Son Heung-min was a surprise non-starter for Spurs, who sent him on for the ragged Richarlison.

Manchester United attempted to help them out of their hole by relying on Alejandro Garnacho and Joshua Zirkzee, but they were unsuccessful. This season, Spurs suffered their fourth defeat.

Shaw had a chance to make amends at the end when Vicario shoved his header past Johnson.

Amorim claimed that winning the trophy would not resolve United’s numerous deep-seated issues but could improve the organization’s standing in the long run. However, United leave Bilbao without even that.

They won’t play European football next term for the first time since the 2014-15 campaign.
