A tragic accident on the Damaturu-Maiduguri Road has claimed the lives of 10 people, leaving 12 others injured.
On Tuesday, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) gave the news of the incident to Channels Television.
A truck, loaded with cement and passengers, lost control, rammed into a car, and then slammed into a ditch, according to what was discovered.
Yobe FRSC Commander, Livinus Yilzoom, said the incident happened at a distance of about 30 kilometres away from Damaturu, the Yobe State capital.

He claimed that he was the only passenger inside his Volkswagen and that he had no injuries. The passengers on top of the cement in the truck, which somersault and killed 10 people, while 12 others, who were hurt, are receiving medical attention, he said.
