Zara shoppers slam ‘hideous’ £60 shoes that are so bad ‘they should be illegal’

A pair of “monstrous” Zara shoes, which retailed for £59.99, sparked a debate among shoppers about the necessity of a fashion cutoff point. After spotting the contentious footwear on Zara’s website, customers didn’t hold back their disapproval, with one even joking that Zara deserves “jail time” for selling them.

TikTok user Bronte Rose, aka @bronterose_ online, posted a video where she teased her boyfriend about purchasing the peculiar kitten heels. These shoes aren’t your standard shoes, they’re layered in mesh fabric featuring images of feet, complete with red toenails, creating a well-groomed foot illusion.

Bronte quipped in her video: “Zara has been cooking again. Who did this”? She humorously aligned the shoe design to her own nail colour, remarking: “They would actually kinda match my nails”. Her partner Matt was far from impressed, responding with a baffled look as he dismissed her shoe-shopping suggestion.

Following up with further disbelief, Bronte reflected: “How this made it to shelves is wild. Who approved these. Surely you’re not even selling one pair. It has to be a joke”. Everyone who wrote her post expressed disdain. One user commented: “Diabolical”. Another chimed in with: “What are those”! Others were equally dumbfounded, with comments like: “Haha oh my lord”.

“OMG, I saw these online today, and I didn’t go back. Who is buying these”? and a bewildered observation: “Omg. But why do the toes resemble claws? After one of Zara’s dresses became a hit on the internet, fashionistas rushed to its website. After causing a stir on TikTok, the £59.99 tulle dress with ruffles and beads has evolved into a must-have winter wardrobe item.

Fans have been gushing over the dress, with one user posting: “WHERE’S THE DRESS FROM YOU LOOK STUNNING”, while another exclaimed: “Oh my god the dress! You look stunning! Can I know the brand”? Yet another joined the chorus of admiration saying: “I actually gasped! This dress is divine”.

Another fan admitted: “This dress is gorgeous”, and one simply raved: “Now THAT’S a DRESS!”! The showstopper was also tipped as a festive hit, with comments such as: “I love that dress it’s stunning. But I’m getting Christmas tree vibes. That would be worn to “every Christmas event”
