X Factor’s Joe McElderry looks unrecognisable as he unveils dramatic transformation

A former X Factor star appears very different today.
Fans were shocked by Joe McElderry’s transformation as he took on the leading role in a theater production after winning the show in 2009, which quickly became a household name. When Joe won the singing competition, beating out Jedward, Olly Murs, Rachel Adedeji, and Stacey Solomon, he was only 18 years old. Joe played the role of Pharaoh at Manchester’s Opera House this week while playing the role of Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.  ,
Joe looked so unrecognizable to fans who had seen him during his X Factor days in a gladiator-style outfit. He even eventually donned his shirt during a dramatic scene to show off his transformation and new career path.  ,
After winning the singing competition show, Joe’s first single, The Climb, peaked at number one both in the UK and Ireland singles charts.  ,

Joe from South Shields defeated runner-up Olly to win the sixth series of the show, which also featured Rage Against the Machine. In the end, the rap metal group’s 1992 song Killing In The Name Of dominated the charts as a result of widespread music downloads in protest of the show.
However, this did not prevent Joe from beginning a distinguished career. His cover of Biffy Clyro’s hit song did eventually reach number one, and he became the first contestant to win the X Factor to release a fourth album. Five of his albums have reached the top 20, and two have even reached the top three.
Joe turned to acting after achieving success as a recording artist. He has appeared in productions like Cinderella and a pantomime adaptation of Pinocchio in addition to playing the role in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. He reprised Jiminy Cricket in this Royal Theatre in Newcastle.

Before taking a break, The X Factor last aired on television in 2018. Simon Cowell, the producer of The X Factor, is currently producing BGT’s sixteenth season. Tt has been claimed to be the show’s head judge until 2025, but it has been confirmed. It has also been reported that he might leave Channel 5 to pursue other projects, according to reports. He has been teased about creating new shows or even bringing back the X Factor’s fandom.
A source who spoke to the Sun about the possibility claimed it would be a “huge move” for Simon, who has carved out a successful TV career through shows like the X Factor and BGT on ITV. After two decades, which has included him delivering them two of their biggest hits, would effectively see him turn his back on ITV, the source added. One chapter has a clear ending and another begins, and Channel 5 wants to be a part of that. However, a seven-figure contract would be required to seal the deal for him to be known.
