Steve Brookstein, the X Factor winner, has made an unexpected claim about his appearance on the program.

The singer, 55, competed on the ITV singing competition back in 2004 and won the first ever series of the show. Steve has made a new claim about the X Factor in the years since his last competition. Steve wrote in a post on X that: “In 2004, my manager (who also co-starred in One Direction) announced that News of the World would publish a story about you being adopted and your parents are Birmingham drug dealers! “

” Mind games were crazy. I called my mum to confirm. Steve criticised former X Factor judges Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne earlier this year, calling them “massive c**ts.” His comments came as the pair made an appearance together on Celebrity Big Brother in March.

They both served as judge for Steve’s victory at the time, along with show creator Simon Cowell. Steve wrote on X: “Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne” after learning that Sharon and Louis were returning to television for Celebrity Big Brother. Celebrity Big Brother Utter K**tz. “

One person responded to him:” I remember him constantly comparing you to Westlife]whom he manages] as if they’re the Beatles. “Steve responded: “It was better than mine to play Against All Odds,” he said. Whoop-dee-doo! Someone else said, “You should offer to drop in for a few days!” while he was being teased that he could enter the Big Brother house. However, Steve did something to respond to the tweet’s suggestion to “drop kick them for a few days”?

In a further post, Steve wrote:” If people saw Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh for what they are – they wouldn’t be watching #cbbuk. There was conflict between Steve and the other two judges on X Factor during the series. Later, Steve asserted that Sharon once called him a “f***ing c***” during a rehearsal that the late Max Clifford had orchestrated a “media hate campaign” against him.

Speaking in 2017, when Clifford died, Steve said in a social media post:” 13 years today I will never forget. I had to travel to Simon’s mansion on the eve of the first X Factor final to film a fake dinner. Microwaved M&amp, S dinner with a side order of playing with my emotions. “

He went on:” It was the beginning of a 13 year living hell. PR guru Max Clifford was the one who was in charge of starting a media denigration campaign against me. He once said to me, “Talk to the press and we’ll bury you.” After suffering a heart attack while cleaning up his cell, Max Clifford recently passed away in prison. Unlucky. “

In his autobiography, Getting Over The X, Steve also discussed Clifford in detail. Clifford was also imprisoned for eight counts of indecent assault on girls and women as young as 15 at the time of his release in 2014.

When approached for comment, Freemantle who produced X Factor declined to comment.
