The exact moment Strictly’s Wynne Evans made an “unacceptable” sexual comment to about Janette Manrara has been caught on camera, with the opera singer seen smirking after making the joke at the dancer’s expense.

In a new image, Wynne, 52, leans over the professional dancer while staring side at mum-of-one Janette. He continues to laugh at his own joke.

When the Strictly Live tour first began in Birmingham, Janette, who had been hosting it, had just veered toward the group to participate in a photocall. Wynne was filmed suggesting a threesome with the pair as the unsuspecting dancer stood between Wynne and EastEnders star Jamie Borthwick.

Then, he appeared to make a wince-face face appearance to Jamie. Before a furious Strictly stars made an awkward laugh, he used the particularly demeaning term “spit roast.”

The broadcaster has now issued a warning to the BBC Wales presenter that it “does not tolerate such behavior on the tour.” Strictly bosses, who have already dealt with numerous misconduct allegations in recent years, are likely to get another headache from the clip, which was obtained by the Mail.

In a statement to the Mirror, Wynne said: “My language was inappropriate and unacceptable, for which I sincerely apologise”. We didn’t previously receive any complaints, according to a BBC Studios spokesman. We have made it very clear to Wynne that we will not tolerate such conduct on the tour.

Evans looked worn out as he broke cover for the first time since being warned by his employers after the Go Compare singer pulled out of a Glasgow date due to injury. He was forced to apologize for his actions but continued to sing while the rest of the cast was waiting for his ankle to heal.

Addressing his followers, on Saturday night from his hotel room in Glasgow, Wynne appeared pale, with bags under his eyes. He said: “Ankle’s getting a bit better, it was great to be able to sing in Glasgow tonight, even if I couldn’t dance, hopefully back tomorrow. But watch this space, I’ll let you know in the morning. See how the swelling goes down, and all that kind of stuff, thanks for all the lovely messages, amazing”.

Evans has faced criticism for his actions before, having first started Strictly last year. When he placed his hand on Katya Jones’ waist and moved it toward her stomach during one of the live performances, he was caught making the appearance that he would make her uncomfortable.

Many fans were outraged by the “grope” caused by the Russian dancer Katya’s apparent brush-a-thinness. Some people objected to the explanation and accused Wynne of acting inappropriately toward Katya despite the pair’s later response, which they later dismissed as a “silly inside joke.”
