Wynne Evans of Strictly Come Dancing has reportedly received two more complaints about inappropriate language.

The 53-year-old Go Compare advert star has been accused of making vile remarks toward Janette Manrara during a photocall at the Strictly launch show. When Janette, the tour’s host, approached the group, he was filmed making an inappropriate sexual remark to her.

He was heard singing: “Go Compare”, before adding: “Not too close to Jamie]Borthwick]”. Then, in reference to a lewd sexual act, he was later heard using the demeaning term “spit roast.” It wasn’t long before Wynne confirmed his departure from the live tour, with the star saying in a statement: “I’ve agreed with the BBC that I’ll take some time out from my radio show and the Strictly Live tour, as well as my other public commitments, to prioritise my wellbeing.

” I am deeply sorry for the pain my inappropriate actions have caused, and plan to take this time for self-reflection. I’m sorry to those who won’t be able to see the remaining performances, and I’m appreciative of my fellow tour members’ continued support.

Following his axing for the remainder of the tour, it has been claimed that the BBC was informed of two additional instances in which his language was questioned. One reportedly appeared on his BBC Wales radio show, and the other reportedly appeared while filming his BBC One travel show, Joanna: All At Sea.

We take any issues that are brought up with us seriously and have robust processes in place to deal with them, according to a BBC spokesperson. We’ve made it clear that any behavior that doesn’t meet the standards set by the BBC will be tolerated.

Wynne had previously told the Mirror that his inappropriate remark about Janette “put up with me” had been made public moments prior. He told prior to the controversial moment:” It is really nice, it is lovely. She makes me laugh, and she is lovely.

He also reflected on his time on Strictly and said:” I really enjoyed my time on Strictly, it was really good. I had a great time. Leant a new skill, made a new friend. Not Katya. Obviously Jamie, no Katya. It was just brilliant. It was a really positive and positive experience for me as well.

When he announced his departure, his dance partner Katya took to her Instagram Stories to defend the opera singer, with the star writing:” Let’s show humanity and consideration. My sweet boy, I’ll miss you forever.

His representatives and the BBC have been asked for comment by The Mirror.
