Woman reacts to Jeremy Clarkson’s incredible offer after farmer shares hilarious wedding proposal

A British farmer standing with his cow in a muddy field isn’t the most glamorous way to ask a question, but it did, according to TV presenter and farmer Jeremy Clarkson, catch the eye.
Jeremy Clarkson’s premium beer company Hawkstone has made an incredibly generous offer to one lucky couple after sharing a hilarious picture of a farmer proposing to his partner
While arguably the most common way to propose involves jetting off to a beautiful location with a picturesque backdrop, every proposal is different and one farmer has used his livestock to help pop the question in a very unique way, and it’s gained some attention on social media.
On Wednesday, March 19 the team at Hawkstone shared the hilarious proposal post on Instagram, showing a farmer in his overalls standing with a cow which had the words “Alice, Marry me?” sprayed on its coat.

We support British farmers, so if Alice says, “We will give you both the Beer and Cider to celebrate your wedding with”! (And if she doesn’t, we’ll send you a case to ease your sorrows) “. Since then, almost 100 comments and over 12 000 likes have been posted.
One user wrote, “My kind of proposal,” while another wrote, “What a great idea, fingers crossed it was a yes,” and another jokingly wrote, “Is the cow asking or the owner?”
Amazingly, Alice saw the post and responded to it in the comments section, saying “Hello Hawkstone, I’m Alice, thank you for the kind offer! This picture is from 2019… We got married in 2021, I said, and I said “yes”! If you had an offer, we’d be happy to renew our vows. One person responded, “I’ve been dying from the suspense!” You said yes, thank you.
Presenter Jeremy Clarkson recently announced he would be giving away kegs of beer and cider to other pubs if they reach out to the brand after teasing in a video message that he’s avoided “financial ruin” at his own pub.
In the video posted to the platform’s Jeremy’s account on Tuesday, Jeremy said, “Right, welcome to the Farmer’s Dog. I’ve been working out at the pub for about six months and have discovered that it is a fantastic way to use customers to turn £100 into about £94.
The fact that we serve Hawkstone lager and cider is the only thing that has saved me from financial ruin, Jeremy continued. Now, if you have a pub and want to see if this approach works for you, contact us at [our website] and we’ll give you a free keg if it sounds good. For nothing, 88 pints of Hawkstone lager or cider!
