West Indies win by 120 runs, series level at 1-1

West Indies won their first Test match in Pakistan for 34 years, ending the series 1-1, with match results of 9-70 at the end of Jomel Warrican’s match.

In Multan, Pakistan were skittled out for just 133 innings into day three, and spinner Warrican won by 120 runs in the second innings to seal the visitors’ 120-run victory.

Although they have only played two series in Pakistan since 1997 and 2006, the Windies last won a Test in Faisalabad in November 1990.

Saud Shakeel lost Saud Shakeel in the opening game when he edged a Kevin Sinclair delivery to Kavem Hodge in the slips when he was 13 years old, but the home side won 76-4 and went on to win 254.

In the following over, Warrican bowled nightwatcher Kashif Ali for one to make room for the Pakistani tail.

Salman Ali Agha and Muhammad Rizwan both showed some resistance, but they both quickly fell to Warrican, leaving Pakistan reeling at 128-8.
