Rumors about Travis Kelce’s potential proposal to Taylor Swift have been spreading like wildfire as the Super Bowl is about to come up.

The Chiefs won the championship game in a heartfelt overtime victory over the San Francisco 49ers, marking the first time the championship was held in Las Vegas. The action will now begin in New Orleans as the Chiefs take on the Philadelphia Eagles in the eighth game to take place at the Caesars Superdome.

Taylor has played a number of games in Travis’ favor, with the Love Story singer most recently expressing his gratitude to the football star for his Super Bowl success. After the Chiefs won, Travis and Taylor, along with his teammates and their loved ones, had a party the night away.

With the big day quickly approaching, there are rumors that Travis will ask Taylor to be his wife after the game in order for the sports star to win. The relationship between Travis and Taylor was viewed as a PR stunt by many a few months ago, a far cry from the speculation surrounding their relationship.

Travis was quick to feign being a snob at a busy Radio Row on Monday when he teased potential proposal plans. When asked by reporters if he would like to propose to the Shake It Off star during the halftime show, Travis cheekily said, “Wouldn’t you like to know,” piqueing even more interest from nosy fans.

He then cleverly responded, “[with] a Super Bowl ring,” to further questions about whether the big event might have a romantic conclusion for the couple. Travis kept his lips afloat and even gave in to the speculation, despite the constant questioning from fans and reporters.

“Man, back-to-back (questions)? You guys are crazy”? he said. Prior to the time that fans spotted Taylor wearing gloves inside the stadium, they believed she was already engaged. Travis ‘ team, the Kansas City Chiefs, competed in two NFL games at their home Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, with Taylor in attendance for them.

To play at one of the games, she donned a pair of black gloves. Fans were persuaded that the gloves had a meaning even though she didn’t arrive with any gloves on one of them. Not many people in that suite were wearing gloves, a fan wrote on X. Could Taylor be hiding the ring”?! Another once said, “Swifties want to know are the gloves hiding a ring.”
