Why did Katie Price and Carl Woods split as he takes brutal action over IVF documentary

Katie Price and Carl Woods had a very rocky relationship and things are still heated between them as she releases a new IVF documentary.

The former glamour model, 46, is gearing up for the release of her new TV show that features Carl. Former car salesman Carl and mum-of-five Katie dated between 2020 and 2023, with their relationship often hitting the headlines. Despite many rough patches, they got engaged in 2021 after Katie said “yes” for the seventh time.

They split for good in 2023, yet Carl will appear in Katie Price : Making Babies, showing her IVF journey as she plans to become a mum for the sixth time. It was filmed before their split as they tried to conceive their first child together. However, Carl is said to have wanted the show to be axed.

Carl was “totally supportive” of Katie at the time, yet friends have share how he doesn’t want “reminders” about his time with Katie and had been working to try and forget their relationship. The couple seemed to split for good at the end of 2023 – with the glamour model lashing out she was “just sick of these cling-ons that turn into Mr Price’s and then want to be famous”.

The Love Island star has since claimed he called time on the couple’s romance after allegedly hearing about Katie sleeping with three other men behind his back. He told The Sun on Sunday: “I had caught her messaging a Premier League footballer as she had tried to send videos to him while we were at the bar and was waving her phone around. She was very sloppy because of the booze and that’s how I found out.

“Before that night, I had seen him try to FaceTime her when we were out of the dental clinic and she had cancelled it. When I confronted her she went wild as she’d been busted. ” Carl then claimed that Katie fled their hotel when he confronted her and she ran across the car park before falling off a ledge and smashing her feet.

Once in hospital, the former glamour allegedly told him she feared he didn’t really like her and she vowed never to cheat on him again. He went on to claim she cheated on him one night when he had been building bed in her ‘Mucky Mansion’ home that he was helping her renovate.

Katie’s former husband, Kieran Hayler reportedly informed Carl that he had learned Katie had cheated on him with a 23-year-old footballer. He also claimed she cheated on him again when they had been on holiday in Thailand together. In response to the allegations, Katie’s representative accused Carl of trying to “cash in” on the former glamour model.

They told The Mirror: “Another ex-cashing in on Kate… for someone who didn’t want to be famous he’s not doing a very good job at it… ” Carl’s reps said in a statement in response: “Carl had realised it’s far less about personal gain and more about integrity. He believes it’s important for the truth to be known. This isn’t about seeking attention, but rather ensuring that Katie is held accountable for her infidelity and dishonesty. “

Katie has since moved on with Married At First Sight star JJ Slater. Last year, Carl claimed she was “lining up” JJ while they were still together as they both watched him on the E4 show. Carl had a relationship with Megan Bell, yet they split just nine months after they started dating.
