Where to watch every Golden Globe-winning film including The Substance
Some of Hollywood’s biggest names came together on Sunday (January 5) at the 82nd Golden Globe Awards. The prestigious Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles hosted the first major event of the 2025 awards season, which was held there.
Demi Moore won her first Golden Globe for her role in the body horror The Substance, and Adrien Brody’s epic The Brutalist and Emilia Pérez’ Netflix musical were the big winners on the night. Sebastian Stan, Kieran Culkin, and Colin Farrell were the other winners, and Wicked, a beloved film, won the Box Office Achievement award.
Who will win the Oscars, which are scheduled for March 2, can be seen by the Golden Globes, which are scheduled for March 2. The Bear’s Jeremy Allen White was recognized as the best actor in a musical or comedy for the third consecutive year, while Samurai saga Shgun won four awards and Baby Reindeer won two.

A Different Man
Sebastian Stan, a male actor from Marvel, won the Best Performance in a Musical or Comedy role for his portrayal of a young actor with facial disfigurement. Stan’s character undergoes a radical medical procedure to alter his appearance, which is followed in the movie.

A Real Pain
Kieran Culkin beat his Succession co-star Jeremy Strong to win the best supporting actor award for his performance in this comedy-drama. Written and directed by The Social Network star Jesse Eisenberg, A Real Pain follows two Jewish American cousins – played by Eisenberg and Culkin – as they travel to Poland to honor their late grandmother.
On January 10, A Real Pain will be showing in UK theaters.
The Brutalist
This historical epic won the Best Picture – Drama award, while Brady Corbet and Adrien Brody won the Best Actor and Best Director honors. After surviving the Holocaust, a Hungarian Jewish architect, Brody, immigrates to the United States.
On January 24, The Brutalist makes its debut in cinemas in the UK.
Challengers
Best Original Score was awarded for the music by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, two award-winning composers. Zendaya, a former tennis prodigy who now lives with her husband and his ex-best friend, plays her in the movie Challengers.
On Prime Video, Challengers is available for streaming.
Conclave
For his contribution to this political thriller, British writer Peter Straughan won the Best Screenplay award. Conclave explores the secret procedure for selecting a new pope following the unexpected death of the incumbent with the help of a stellar cast led by Ralph Fiennes.

Emilia Pérez
This Spanish-language musical earned four wins, including Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy and Best Motion Picture – Non-English Language. It centers on a Mexican cartel leader (Gascón) who undergoes gender transition to escape her criminal past, which is portrayed in Zoe Saldaa, Selena Gomez, and Karla Sofa Gascón.
Emilia Pérez is streaming on Netflix.
Flow
Flow won the Golden Globes for best animated film, trailing only Wallace &, Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl and Inside Out 2. In order to survive, a cat must unite with other animals by finding refuge on a boat after its home is destroyed by a devastating flood.
On March 3, Flow will be shown in UK theaters.
I’m Still Here
Fernanda Torres won this year’s best female actor award for her performance in a Brazilian drama that also included Angelina Jolie, Tilda Swinton, Nicole Kidman, and Kate Winslet. She appears in the movie “Mother forced to reinvent herself” in the 1971 military dictatorship in Brazil.
I’m Still Here premieres in UK cinemas on February 21.
The Substance
Demi Moore’s role in Coralie Fargeat’s body horror earned her first Golden Globe, and she did so at the age of 62. Moore portrays an aging celebrity who uses a black market drug to make her look younger, better.
The Substance is streaming on Mubi and Prime Video’s Mubi Channel.
