National League side Wealdstone have said one of their players appeared in the Baller League without the club’s permission.

Sak Hassan featured for YouTuber KSI’s Prime FC team in Monday night’s event, scoring in a 7-3 win over N5 FC.

The 24-year-old Somalia midfielder has played 25 times in all competitions for the Stones this season after joining them from Hashtag United last summer.

“We are aware that Sak Hassan, under contract with Wealdstone FC, appeared in this evening’s Baller League,” said a statement posted on X by the club.

“The club was not approached for permission for Sak to participate, nor were we made aware of his involvement in advance.

“We will now be following up with both the Baller League and the player directly.”

Baller League is in its second season in the United Kingdom – the televised six-a-side tournament where a mixture of former and current professionals, celebrities, and influencers compete in 30-minute matches.
