Vicky Pattison’s life off screen – from health struggles to dream wedding
Vicky Pattison takes to screens tonight as she stars in new Channel 4 documentary, Vicky Pattison: My Deepfake Sex Tape. In the doc, Vicky leaked her own deepfake sex tape, something she has recently defended.
The actress, who started her career at the Geordie Shore house in 2011, almost 14 years after she achieved fame. Before leaving in 2014, she was the first cast member of the popular MTV series.
The actress then jumped onto a massive TV career, which was accelerated by her victory on I’m A Celebrity in 2015. This led to many more TV appearances, including six months on the panel of Loose Women.
Before the star tied the knot with Ercan Ramadan last year in a lavish wedding, the actress had witnessed her many ups and downs in her romantic life. most famously, Ricci Guarnaccio, a fellow Geordie Shore star, and her engagement. When the couple first engaged in series 2, the hit show’s second season, he quickly proposed during a Mexican vacation. However, things went wrong a year later when Ricci demanded his engagement ring back and left the show.
It was six years later until Vicky met the love of her life, and now husband, Ercan Ramadan. In 2019, the pair started dating, and Vicky revealed that Ercan had proposed while on vacation in Dubai three years later. “I choose you and I’ll choose you over and over without pause, without a doubt, in a heartbeat… It’ll always be you. To our forever @ercan_ram”, she penned on Instagram.
Before their lavish Italian wedding celebration, the couple tied the knot in their first ceremony at London’s iconic Marylebone Town Hall in August of last year. Before the legal ceremony, the couple rejoicing in Italy a month later, surrounded by 150 of their loved ones.
In Puglia’s coastal region, Castle Elvira hosted the celebration. The former Geordie Shore star wrote on Instagram a week after the big day that “I have honestly never felt happiness like it – the most special day of our lives.”
The event was also captured in Vicky Pattison’s two-part E4 series, Vicky Pattison: My Big Fat Geordie Wedding, which provided an inside look at the two big days.
Vicky has also opened up about her struggles for fans in addition to revealing the highlights of her life. Premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), a condition that causes physical and emotional symptoms before menstruation, is a condition that the actress has been open about.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain last month, Vicky expressed: “My experiences when I went to discuss my symptoms were horrendous. For years, for five years I was dismissed, I was made to feel ashamed… for the majority of the time it was men.
Opening up further on social media, Vicky revealed that the condition had” affected my relationships, work and quality of life.
“At times, it made me feel like I was going insane- I just do not recognise myself for 2weeks of the month &, ever so gradually- that time frame is becoming longer- &, sometimes, when I’m proper in the midst of this &, totally consumed by my own dark thoughts I convince myself that I’m never going to get better.. that these feelings &, thoughts aren’t temporary. that I am now who I am. And I’m terrified of that.
