Diddy has been accused of offering “millions” to have Tupac Shakur murdered.

The disgraced music mogul was named 47 times in relation to Shakur’s killing on September 13, 1996, according to a previously unheard police interview. Many people have been linked to the case, and his murder has always remained a mystery. However, Diddy has previously maintained that he is not a suspect. He has previously denied the allegations.

Duane “Keefe D” Davis has since been charged with the murder and is currently imprisoned while awaiting trial. Davis had filed a lawsuit to have him dismissed, but Davis’ attorneys have since refuted that claim in a 180-page filing, claiming he had previously “confessed” being a part of the murder of Tupac.

In the filing, Davis used a transcript of his “confessions,” which were secretly recorded in a 2009 Las Vegas police interview and where he discussed the murder’s allegations. In the lawsuit and a previously unheard police interview, Diddy, who is currently behind bars on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution, played a significant role.

Davis, who has continued to enter a defense for murder, claimed in the interview that Diddy had also played a role in the murder, while speaking with Detective Long of the Las Vegas Metro Police Department on tape. In the recording, The Sun claims Long asked: “Does he play a role in this thing”? Davis responded: “Yeah”.

He later claimed that Diddy expressed his dislike for record label boss, Suge Knight, allegedly saying: “Ah s**t, I’ll give anything for that dude head”. According to Davis, Diddy said in front of 45 people that the price to kill Knight and Shakur would be “mother-f*****r millions”.

Davis claimed Diddy didn’t say “specific dollar” about killing Suge, adding he was “scared” of the music mogul. In the transcript, it’s alleged that he spoke about Diddy’s issues with Shakur following the 1996 diss track, Hit Em Up, in which, Shakur took aim ad Diddy, Notorious B. I. G. and a string of other rappers.

The transcript, which is now being used as evidence against Davis, Diddy said “f**k that dude”, when asked about Tupac. Recalling his reaction to Diddy being murdered, Davis said: “We was like ‘ damn, we can get paid now, ‘” – when asked if the source of the payment was Diddy, he responded: “Yeah”.

However, Diddy has never been a suspect in the murder of Tupac. On July 24, 2024, a public information officer for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department stated to PEOPLE that “Sean Combs has never been viewed as a suspect in the investigation into the killing of Tupac Shakur.” Meanwhile, law enforcements also told TMZ that Diddy was not a suspect in the crime.

The allegations have also been publicly refuted by Diddy. In 2011, he told LA Weekly: “This story is pure fiction and completely ridiculous”.
