Trinny London launches eye cream promising to ‘deal with past you’
A new product from Trinny London has been released to help reduce fine lines and stop aging. Founder Trinny Woodall, who was once a sceptic of such creams, took to social media to announce her first-ever eye cream, Take Back Time.
She explained that developing a formula to boost the skin’s intrinsic functions took three years of labor of love and was subject to extensive research and testing. The cutting-edge achievement specifically addresses the delicate eye area, which tends to age almost a decade quicker than the face, manifesting as persistent wrinkles, pronounced crow’s feet, and dark circles.
The 60-year-old fashion guru confessed on Instagram: “As much as I said I would never use an eye cream, but secretly I wanted to do one. Prior to discovering some longevity research into miniproteins and their role in slowing down the ageing process, I simply had never found the ingredients. The ideal ingredient for our Take Back Time formulation is this.

She added: “Take Back Time deals with the past, the present and the future you. Our two miniproteins work by slowing down the ageing process, causing your lines to shrink over time, when they are past you with all the harm that has been done.
“The present you is you wake up with dry eyes, and you look tired, there is no hydration there. In response, we inject the most potent form of hyaluronic acid, known as pro-derma hyaluronic acid, which extends twice as far around your eye area. You’re going to get hydration that really lasts. It’s similar to giving your eyes all-you could want.
“Now the future you is about the things that happen today and affect how you look in the future – it’s the stress of the day, the lack of sleep, inflammation. Hexapeptide-8 and ashwagandha are the perfect combination to deal with these issues”.
One customer mused over the new £65 product saying, “It looks good but expensive”, while another noted their curiosity: “I’m curious because in the bathroom videos from five to seven years ago Trinny always said she saw no point in eye serums/creams”. Yet, some shoppers are keen to try it out, one remarked: “If it’s anything as good as your neck cream it will be phenomenal”.
Clinical trials demonstrated that four weeks of use of the eye cream caused crow’s feet and under-eye lines to significantly decrease, whereas 12-week continuous use caused eyelid sagging and eye bags. One tester said: “My eyes looked so tired, dull and crepey, since using this my eye area has drastically improved.
Since using this miracle cream, my eyes appear more awake, refreshed, and rejuvenated, and my fine lines have almost completely disappeared. “A second said:” My eyes look 10 years younger and feel plump and firmer. “
There are currently no negative reviews of the product because it is so new. However, at £65, the cream is on the pricier side, so this is something to consider before purchasing.
For less money, Evenswiss’ Rejuvenating Eye Complex, a vitamin-rich, non-greasy cream, is available at Dermoi for £37. The Trinny London Take Back Time eye treatment can be purchased for £65. Alternatively, Amazon shoppers can snag Medik8’s Advanced Night Eye for £41.95.
