Jake Brown, the winner of Traitors, has broken his silence following rumor-filled accusations that his wife confronted him after he became close to a female coworker.
Jake, who appeared on the popular BBC show Faithful, is alleged to have spent months forming a relationship with his workmate before his wife Shannon confronted him. A source said of the couple, of Barrow, Cumbria: “They were going through a rocky patch. He was so apologetic”.
Two months after his wedding, Jake is said to have allegedly engaged in a “showdown” with his wife Shannon after they confronted him, a work colleague, and her boyfriend.
Following the allegations, Jake, 27, has returned to Instagram to quieten rumours about his marriage. The actress shared a cozy photo of him and Shannon outing. The snap was originally posted by Jake’s Traitors co-star Leon Jackman, who supportively wrote ‘ I love these two ‘ amid the allegations.
Since moving together in 2015, Jake and Shannon have been married on September 15, 2023. The wedding photo was posted on Instagram at the time, with the caption “Best day of our lives” at the time.
Jake is said to have become close to a work friend at an office party two months after the wedding. As a result of their two-year-old domestic problems, Jake and his 24-year-old female coworker are said to have reportedly gotten closer over the course of five months.
However, when Shannon found out she ordered her new husband to end the friendship.
A source told The Sun: “She wasn’t happy, and confronted Jake. She told him it had to stop”.
The insider explained that Jake and this woman were hanging out. They confided in each other. They’d meet up and lean on each other for comfort and support. But the longer it went on, Shannon grew suspicious of the friendship”.
Shannon reportedly texted Jake’s friend and communicated with him over coffee to let him know her concerns. He was shocked to see the woman’s back because their relationship had ended when Shannon and him met.

Jake has shot to fame after starring in the hit BBC show, hosted by Claudia Winkleman, where he was a ‘ Faithful ‘ from the beginning. Jake gained popularity among viewers and was referred to as the “Traitors catcher” among his co-stars for teasing some of the series’ liars. Jake, who was born with cerebral palsy, wound up in the final two alongside Leanne Quigley where he declared: “I am and I have always been, a Faithful”.
Jake and Leanne split the £96, 000. A delighted Jake later admitted in a post-show interview. “I’m glad I was a Faithful, I’m glad the outcome was the outcome, because I’m now £47, 000 richer”!
Jake and his fellow co-stars have since since rekindled their fame, and he was recently seen at the Bridget Jones premiere. The reality star and his wife Shannon were spotted snuggling up on the red carpet and posing for photos.
A spokesperson for Jake said: “Jake’s marriage is the most important thing to him. He and Shannon are delighted that they have been dating for ten years.
