Tommy Fury’s hope for Molly-Mae Hague wedding despite split – but reveals secret fear
In his book, Tom Fury went over his hopes for the alleged dream wedding he had with his ex-fiancée Molly-Mae Hague.
The boxer opened up about the sad end of their once-glorious relationship in his eagerly-anticipated new book, Lightning Can Strike Twice: My Life As A Fury, with a chapter dedicated to the Instagram split. He also discussed a special occasion that he hoped would aid in his planned wedding to Molly-Mae.
In 2019, after coming out of Love Island, Tommy joined his co-star Curtis Pritchard in a three-part miniseries called The Boxer &, The Ballroom Dancer. In order to prepare for a ballroom competition, the boxer replaced his boxing gloves with dancing shoes. Meanwhile, dancer Curtis tried his hand at boxing.
In his book, Tommy described how he had learned to dance and how he wanted to use his newly acquired abilities to win Molly-Mae over at their wedding. Although that might not be the best time to pull off a tango, he said, “I’m hoping that some of what I learned won’t desert me in the future, especially for Molly and my first dance at our wedding.”
He also mentioned the breakdown of his romantic relationship with Molly-Mae, who he met on Love Island, and the birth of a child with her in the same book. When the former couple announced they were leaving after five years of dating, the showbiz world was rocked. Even last summer, the two got engaged.
Opening up in one heartbreaking section, Tommy admitted he hit ‘ rock bottom ‘ after he and Molly-Mae called it quits. He said, “The grief and stress that come with separating from someone I love, along with it, stole my appetite and sleep, and piled on the stress and anxiety since it occurred. I have been at rock bottom personally”.
After her engagement to Tommy ended in August, Molly-Mae, who recently launched her own fashion line, is raising Bambi alone. Tommy even made it known that he is determined to win back his ex-fiance’s trust and reunite their family.
Asked on ITV ‘ s This Morning if he would like to get back together with Molly-Mae, Tommy said on Thursday: “It’s my family, at the end of the day I love them ‘ til the day I die”. The 25-year-old boxer, who is currently competing in boxing, was on the morning show to promote his new book, Lightning Can Strike Twice: My Life As A Fury, in which he addressed their separation in an additional chapter.
