Tinubu’s Meeting With Macron Will Boost Job Creation In Nigeria – Edun

The recent meeting between President Bola Tinubu and his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron, is a sign of positive things to come for the Nigerian economy, according to Wale Edun, the minister of finance and coordinates minister of economy.

On Thursday, Tinubu and Macron met and signed some agreements between the two nations while Tinubu is on a state visit in France.

Edun, who is a member of the president’s delegation in France, exclusively spoke with Channels Television from the European nation on Friday, praising the leaders’ partnership as “bodes well for employment, creation of jobs, and growth of the Nigerian industry.”

He claimed that Tinubu’s message to Macron was that Nigeria is now firmly positioned for business with his ongoing reforms beginning to stabilize and stabilize the economy.

On the part of Macron, Edun noted that the French leader encouraged his country’s public and private sectors to do more to help Nigeria’s economy with their investments.

According to him, both countries committed to partner in areas of agriculture, finance, housing, technology and many others.

There is a commitment from both sides to engage in agriculture, in the development of initiatives to improve food security, in a wide range of discussions that included a number of ministers from both sides and leaders of both countries, according to the statement.

President Tinubu applauded Emmanuel Macron’s friendly interactions with him and appreciated his interest in Africa.

Tinubu expressed confidence in the positive effects of Macron’s goodwill on the continent as a whole.
