Tinubu Salutes National Assembly For Approving emergency Rule In Rivers

The National Assembly’s “decisive and patriotic ratification of the state of emergency proclamation in Rivers State” was praised by President Bola Tinubu.

The president referred to it as “a crucial step to restoring stability after a protracted political crisis that paralyzed governance in the state and put an end to national economic security for over 15 months” in a statement from Bayo Onanuga, the president’s special adviser on information and strategy.

The President praised the leadership of the National Assembly for placing partisan interests and other factors before the protection and safety of Rivers State residents.
