
On Tuesday night, President Bola Tinubu extended his condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims of a devastating fire outbreak at an Islamic school in Kaura Namoda, Zamfara State.
The fire, which ravaged the Tsangaya school, claimed the lives of 17 children and injured several others.
Tinubu expressed his sympathies to the state government, the school’s owners, and prayed for the speedy recovery of those receiving medical attention.
He also urged regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with safety standards and stressed the importance of putting safety and security first in all public and private schools.
