This Morning’s Josie Gibson rushed to hospital as she shares worrying update

In a social media post, a This Morning presenter revealed that the couple ended up in a hospital this afternoon.

The new was shared by Josie Gibson, 40, through her Instagram Story earlier. The stand-in host of the ITV show made a statement to her followers on the platform that she was seeking medical attention for a health issue that has not been disclosed. She kept quiet about whether it was due to a medical condition that she was taking along with her.

However, she shared a photo that showed directions to the Fracture &amp, Orthopaedic Clinics, and Trauma Assessment Unit on signs on the site’s wall. Over the photo, she wrote in the caption: “You couldn’t even make it up”. Josie’s post was set to rock band Mazzy Star’s song Cry Cry.

The Big Brother winner has not yet provided any further information or updates about her hospital visit this afternoon. In the past, Jackie has mentioned a number of health issues, including having previously discussed getting tonsillitis treated. The TV presenter has also been open about experiencing sleep paralysis, for example.

Her most recent post comes ahead of her debut television series Around the World in First Class, which will air on Channel 5 later this week. The three-part series – which debuts on Friday – follows Josie as she experiences “first-class travel” around the world. Over the course of the series, she will be making stops in Grenada, Sweden, and the United Arab Emirates.

In a teaser, she states: “More and more of us are splashing out on once-in-a-lifetime trips and the travel companies can’t wait to have us. But is it worth the added expense? And how do you bag yourself a bargain”? In the video shared on social media, she states, “Thankfully, I’m prepared to go out there and find out exactly what you get for your cash.”

Josie recently mentioned her feelings about signing up for the show and that she initially thought the offer was a “wind-up.” She said: “When I got the call, I thought this cannot be real. I thought it was a wind-up. I believe that I was only asked to say “yes” for a second. I would never have been able to believe it in a million years if someone had told the younger me that this would one day be my life. It is “better than I ever could have imagined,” she continued. I don’t even want to sugar coat it – I’m jealous of me”.
