Claudia Winkleman’s on-screen wardrobe has been the talk of the town since the second season of The Traitors started earlier this year. Claudia sparked a “traitorcore” trend by swapping out her sequins and dancing shoes for more practical clothing suitable for the rugged Scottish highlands.
As the third series returns, we’re eager to see what iconic style moments Claudia will bring. Working with her stylist of 18 years, Sinead Mckeefry, they created a media frenzy with her weather-appropriate wear, cleverly blending British heritage with a goth-punk aesthetic.
However, one unusual accessory caused quite a stir among viewers – her red leather fingerless gloves, which Claudia admits she doesn’t even like. Fans are frantically trying to get their hands on a pair of these gloves, reports OK!, which have sparked an 80s revival.
The price tag might surprise you. The exact pair of shoes Claudia wore on the show was a £24.99 faux leather find, making it one of the show’s more affordable trends. However, Claudia’s wardrobe includes some expensive designer pieces with high prices. Similar items can be purchased here for less than £10, as well.

In an interview with Claudia’s stylist this year, British Vogue revealed that the pair actually despise the red gloves that have become a part of her “travestcore” ensembles. It turns out Mckeefry didn’t even choose the now-iconic accessory.
After receiving the brief, which included a lookbook of US host Alan Cumming’s Scottish regalia, McCkeefry “absolutely refused to put her client in so much tartan,” according to Vogue. By the time season two, which is currently aireing dramatic effects, McKeefry was left to imagine Claudia’s punk take on Countryfile chic. There was one catch: the pantomime gloves had to stay”.

Additionally, the presenter has reportedly wore a mix of Brora and Johnstons of Elgin designs in some chic knitted cashmere sweaters.
