The Range’s £17 ‘lamp of dreams’ looks just like £78 Oliver Bonas version

A “dazzling” table lamp is available at The Range, but its appearance is easily confused with a much more expensive one. The low-cost retailer is well known for its homeware collection, but many people’s eyes are drawn to one particular item.

The Range’s Cream Boucle Effect Table Lamp looks almost identical one sold at Oliver Bonas, for a fraction of the price. The two lamps feature similar tapered shapes, with matching conical shades.

Both have a textured finish, are the same height, and are covered in boucle fabric. The Range’s lamp is cream, but the Oliver Bonas version has a white cord and a black and white cotton-covered cord.

The Range took to Instagram to share a clip of it’s lamp, showcasing it in store and then styled at home by shopper @lucymegan00. The video was captioned: “BOUCLÉ LAMP OF DREAMS. Our £16.99 Cream Bouclé Effect Table Lamp – it’s a NEED, not a want!”

Fans left numerous comments and hundreds of likes for the post. One person referred to the lamp as “stunning,” and the other, “love this.”
