Taylor Swift to present at Grammy Awards 2025 as she’s tipped to make history

The biggest ceremony in Los Angeles’ music calendar returns this weekend, and it’s getting bigger.

The biggest names in the industry compete for thecoveted gongs at the 67th annual Grammy Awards, which will take place at Crypto.com Arena. Taylor Swift is one of them, but Taylor Swift’s night has gotten a little more special.

The Shake It Off singer has been announced as one of this year’s presenters, much to her delight. While it’s not clear which category she will hand out the award for, the songstress, 35, the Recording Academy confirmed her role on Thursday.

Taylor could make history if she wins Album of the Year for the fifth time, along with her newly announced presenting role. She will receive the award for her tenth album Midnights, which was a success for her previous record, which she set with her debut album, The Tortured Poets Department, last year.

She is also up for Best Pop Vocal Album for her release, along with Eras Tour opener Gracie Abrams, and Best Pop Duo Performance for Us. Additionally, her song Fortnight has been included in the recording of both Record of the Year and Song of the Year.

To date, Taylor has bagged herself 14 Grammy Awards. However, this time she will face stiff competition from the likes of Beyonce, who is up for 11 awards. Queen Bey hasn’t yet won the album of the year award despite receiving five nominations.

Gold Derby, an authority in awards show coverage and predictions, has tipped her for potential success in the category this year, however. They claim that either Hit Me Hard and Soft by Billie Eilish or Cowboy Carter by Beyonce will receive the award. The experts and editors at Gold Derby have given each of their albums four votes. Others in the category include Chappell Roan, Jacob Collier, Charli XCX, Sabrina Carpenter and Andre 3000.

All of Gold Derby’s experts and editors concur in favor of Sabrina Carpenter’s Espresso winning the Record of the Year award in addition to other Grammy categories up for grabs. Trevor Noah will once more present the occasion. His fifth consecutive hosting snag at the annual bash will be here. The comedian is best known for hosting The Daily Show on Comedy Central from 2015 to 2022.

Taylor recently hosted a private party for her sports star boyfriend Travis Kelce. Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift arranged a lavish rooftop bar in the city to celebrate the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory in style. The couple’s close friends and family, including Ashley Avignone, arriving at Prime Social in a red party bus, a vehicle Kelce has previously used for celebrations. The private party was quickly ushered in by security, which according to sources was only going to be confirmed if the Chiefs won.

While most guests entered through the front door, Swift, her boyfriend, and the Mahomes ‘ chose to use a side entrance in the garage. Swift’s parents decided to head straight back to Nashville.
