Strictly’s Pete Wicks labelled a ‘control freak’ by Jowita Przystal amid semi-final blow

As they discussed their journey so far this week, Strictly Come Dancing expert Jowita Przystal pointed out that Pete Wicks, her famous dance partner, is a “control freak,” in a lighthearted bbc joke.
After making it through to the semi-final, the pair answered questions from fans, which included: “If you had to label the other]person] as a Ballroom or Latin dance, which would you be and why”?.
With little hesitation, the 30-year-old Strictly pro likened Pete to an Argentine Tango. Keen to know more, Pete, 36, went on to ask how that dance differed from the Waltz they performed last weekend.
She explained on his Staying Relevant podcast: “There’s no frame and you do Ganchos.
” Kicks and flicks, you know like when you flick the leg, so you hook my leg and I hook your leg and we go around and we hook each other’s legs, and we’re quite close and it’s quite serious. “
She added:” So, it’s very serious, it’s very passionate and it’s very powerful – that’s basically you. “
Not stepping there, Jowita continued:” And you’re a control freak as well, I need to genuinely listen]to] every step of yours, I need to follow you. “
” OK, so that would be that, “Pete replied, keen to move on.
In a bid to reach the final, the dancing duo will perform an Argentine Tango to Bobby Darin’s Beyond the Sea and an Argentine Tango to Bittersweet Symphony on Tonight.
Those also still in the running to win the Glitterball trophy are, Tasha Ghouri, Sarah Hadland, JB Gill and Chris McCausland.
Pete is the favorite to leave this weekend, according to the most recent odds from Betway, but he has consistently defied these predictions.
Chris and his dance partner Dianne Buswell are still the odds-on favorite to win.
Montell Douglas, the star of the Gladiators, left last weekend as the latest celebrity to step down.
Pete thanked fans for their support in an emotional message he shared on Instagram, explaining his shock over the outcome.
As part of his statement, he admitted he was unsure how he’ll go any further in the competition, but promised viewers he will give it his all.
In response, Jowita wrote:” You deserve it all Pete. And this week, we’ll make two stunning dances together.
Tonight at 6:30 p.m. on BBC One, Strictly Come Dancing will continue.
