After Wynne Evans’ live performance was canceled, Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Katya Jones has rekindled her silence.
She wrote over his post on Instagram: “Let’s show humanity and consideration. ” after Wynne revealed he had agreed to leave the show. My sweet boy, I’ll miss you.
Wynne accepted the axe and agreed to “take some time off” from his radio show and the Strictly Come Dancing live tour “to prioritize my wellbeing” with the BBC. He said in a statement: “I’ve agreed with the BBC that I’ll take some time out from my radio show and the Strictly Live tour, as well as my other public commitments, to prioritise my wellbeing.
” I am deeply sorry for the pain my inappropriate actions have caused, and plan to take this time for self-reflection. I’m sorry to those who won’t be able to see the remaining performances, and I’m appreciative of my fellow tour members’ continued support.

Wynne, who turned 53 on Monday, was nowhere to be seen as the stars left their hotel ahead of the live show tonight. The Go Compare advert star’s vile sexual remark to his co-star at the start of the tour in Birmingham was reported earlier this week.
When Janette Manrara, the tour’s host, approached him, he was filmed making an inappropriate sexual remark. He was heard singing:” Go Compare, “before adding:” Not too close to Jamie]Borthwick]. In reference to a lewd sexual act, “He then was heard using the demeaning term “spit roast.”
Wynne had previously claimed in a statement that his inappropriate comment was “put up with me” by dance partner Katya. He told prior to the controversial moment:” It is really nice, it is lovely. She makes me laugh, and she is lovely.

He also reflected on his time on Strictly and said:” I really enjoyed my time on Strictly, it was really good. I had a great time. Leant a new skill, made a new friend. Not Katya. Obviously Jamie, no Katya. It was just brilliant. It was a really positive and positive experience for me as well.
Following the release of the video, Evans told the Mirror:” My language was inappropriate and unacceptable, for which I sincerely apologise. “
Some fans are unsure of the reason it took so long while the decision to remove Wynne has been made. Fans headed to Twitter/X to express their concern and frustration over the delay, with one user writing:” To be totally honest, I don’t know how he last so long. “Another added:” The Wynne Evans situation is odd. While it is obvious from social media that the strictly cast knows him well, why did the BBC take the risk of taking him on tour and risk further harming their reputation?
