Strictly’s Jamie and pro Jowita look closer than ever after tour drama amid ‘secret romance’

Jamie Borthwick and Jowita Przystal, two Strictly Come Dancing stars, recently spotted relaxing in Leeds during a break from their tour, further bolstering romance rumors.

The pair were dressed warmly against the cold, with Jowita in a black long trench coat, white pants, white trainers, and a white hoodie, while keeping a low profile with a black hat. Jamie, walking alongside her, wore an emerald green thick jumper, grey pants, and white trainers.

The two, both 30 years old, were reported to have gotten romantically involved while filming the series late last year and have since maintained a close relationship while on the Strictly Come Dancing Live tour.

The EastEnders actor and dancer met on the program’s Christmas special in 2023, where he was crowned champion alongside Nanxy Xu despite working with other stars. However, as the pair allegedly started to form a secret romance, feelings backstage began to wane. The pair have continued to grow close on the Strictly tour of the UK almost two years after meeting.

Currently, Jamie is partnered with Michelle Tsiakkas, while Jowita is part of the professional dancers lineup. Last year, Jowita, 30, reached the semi-final with reality star, Pete Wicks, who has previously spoken about the bond between the actor and the Polish star.

According to reports, the pair began to resemble one another while filming the BBC One dancing competition, and Jowita immediately caught up with the Jay Brown actor. “Things did get romantic between them, Jowita loves Jamie’s playfulness and sense of humour, not to mention he’s a very talented dancer”, a source said.

They continued to tell the MailOnline that Jowita and Pete’s relationship with Jamie “went untold, which they both found hilarious.” As they perform on the Strictly tour, the cast believes their romance might have a long-term impact on what they can learn from each other.

Wynne Evans’ removal from the Strictly Come Dancing Live tour has been revealed. At the start of the Birmingham tour, Wynne, who appeared in the most recent Strictly series, made a mocking sexual remark to his co-star in a video. Evans apologized for the statement, but he has since reportedly been fired from the show.

When Wynne approached the group, she was caught making an inappropriate sexual remark to Janette Manrara, the tour’s host. He sang out: “Go Compare”, before adding: “Not too close to Jamie]Borthwick]”. Then, in reference to a lewd sexual act, he made the incredibly offensive term “spit roast.”

In a statement, Evans told the Mirror: “My language was inappropriate and unacceptable, for which I sincerely apologise”. After being forced to withdraw from Glasgow shows due to an injury, he and the tour cast showed up to Liverpool. However, it has been reported he will be out of the tour.
