Giovanni Pernice, 34, a former Strictly Come Dancing star, has revealed a close look at his newest romance.
After meeting late last year on Ballando con le Stelle, the Italian version of Strictly, the dancer is currently dating Italian singer and actress Bianca Guaccero, 43. Giovanni and Giovanni made a relationship announcement in November, and the pair won the show the following month.
Bianca and Giovanni were posing for a selfie on Instagram where they were relaxing in a dim room and kissing one another. She captioned the snap, “Love you with all my heart, my dear love.” Giovanni was quick to repost the domestic scene, and added: “Love you more”.
Giovanni publicly declared his love for Bianca in a letter to the editor of the November 23 episode of Ballando con le Stelle, saying, “Bianca is my priority. She has been my priority from the beginning. She will remain so until the show’s conclusion and after that, and she will remain so. Appearing moved, Bianca replied: “Being someone’s priority is something new for me. I’ve always taken care of other people.
She continued: ‘ It’s an amazing feeling. At the age of 43, I’m learning about it. I’ve never had someone else next to me who is proud of me and content with my happiness. I have never experienced this in my life.
The couple made the important decision to get tattoos of the date they won Ballando con le Stelle, given how the pair connected, last month. Sharing some photos of the ink online, Bianca gushed:” 21/12/2018. And how could we ever forget that date that YOU made Irreplaceable. Thank you for everything. Merry Christmas to everyone! “
Prior to his new romance, Giovanni previously had a fling with Tasha Ghouri, 26, who went on to compete in Strictly last year. After winning Strictly with EastEnders actor Rose Ayling-Ellis in 2021, who had a connection with the Love Island star, Gio reached out and whisked Tasha off on a number of dates.
A source shared:” Giovanni was persistent when it came to Tasha. They have a lot in common, both being dancers, and he had just learned a lot about the deaf community performing with Rose on Strictly, who Tasha really admires.
She traveled by herself to famous restaurants in London and offered to pick her up, but she is independent and always made her own way to see him.
Ultimately, though, it wasn’t meant to be: “Their romance didn’t progress because Giovanni was travelling a lot with the Strictly tour and Tasha was already involved with someone else”.
Tasha confirmed that they had once been in touch when she spoke to The Sun about romance rumors about Giovanni. “I’ve met up with him a few times. But that was a long time ago. We are not in touch now, this is like ancient history”, she described.
