Following Wynne Evans’ axe from the live tour, Strictly Come Dancing stars gushed over their “favorite show.”
The 53-year-old opera singer and GoCompare commercial star, who has been linked to another scandal, announced last night that he would be leaving the ongoing nationwide tour. He made the remarks while Janette Manrara was being launched in Birmingham, which was revealed later.
when Janette reached out to the group. He sang out: “Go Compare”, before adding: “Not too close to Jamie]Borthwick]”. Then, in reference to a lewd sexual act, he used the vile term “spit roast.” He later apologized in a grovelling manner, but he was later dropped from the final live performances.
The Strictly stars took to the stage in Liverpool on January 28th to perform without Wynne, sweeping the air. After the performance, professional dancer Nancy Xu re-posted a fan video from the set on Instagram. The caption read: “Fave show”.

Wynne confirmed his departure last night in a statement, stating both his true motivation and his decision to step down from all public positions, including his BBC radio show. “I’ve agreed with the BBC that I’ll take some time out from my radio show and the Strictly Live tour, as well as my other public commitments, to prioritise my wellbeing”, he said in a statement.
He continued: “I am deeply sorry for the pain my inappropriate actions have caused, and plan to take this time for self-reflection. I’m sorry to those who won’t be able to see the remaining performances, and I’m appreciative of my fellow tour members’ incredible help.
Speaking previously to the Mirror, Wynne said: “My language was inappropriate and unacceptable for which I sincerely apologise”. Following the incident, the BBC revealed that they had warned Evans about his behaviour. The Strictly Live Tour and BBC Studios spokesman said: “We did not previously receive any complaints about the remark.” We have made it very clear to Wynne that we will not tolerate such conduct on the tour.
His dance partner Katya Jones took to his page to express her support for him after it was confirmed that he had been suspended from the performances. Taking to Instagram, she shared his statement on her Stories and added: “Let’s show humanity and consideration. My sweet boy, I’ll miss you.
