Mathys Tel, a France Under-21s forward, has signed for Tottenham Hotspur.

The transfer’s structure has not yet been confirmed, and it’s not clear whether it will be a permanent or a temporary arrangement.

The 19-year-old is expected to relocate to north London after rejecting Spurs earlier this month.

His agent Gadiri Camara posted a photo that appeared to show them both boarding a private jet on Monday.

For the first league victory in eight Premier League games, Tottenham won 2-0 at Gtech Community Stadium on Sunday.

Ange Postecoglou’s side sit 14th in the table but are in the last 16 of the Europa League and the Carabao Cup semi-finals.

Tottenham travel to Liverpool for the second leg of their semi-final match on Thursday after winning the first leg with a score of 1-0.

The club’s second in two days after they announced the signing of Austrian international defender Kevin Danso on loan from Ligue 1 side Lens on Sunday would be the completion of the Tel deal.

Although Tel had been linked with a move to Manchester United, Julien Laurens, a renowned expert on European football, advised the striker to choose Spurs instead.

According to Laurens, “Ange Postecoglou spoke with Mathys Tel for a while and persuaded him to move to Tottenham.”
