Spencer Pratt pleads with fans to help him make cash after LA wildfires destroy home
After watching his home burn to the ground, Spencer Pratt has contacted his social media followers to ask for their assistance in earning money.
Heidi Montag and the former Hills actor’s wife Heidi Montag lost their home earlier this week in a devastating fire. They are one of the tens of thousands of property loss victims, along with 16 others who have already passed away.
The reality TV star, 41, has taken to TikTok to ask his followers to watch a video that was previously posted to his account as the fire is raging. The upload featured the song titled What It Feels Like, by Aly &, AJ.
He said: “I’ll get up to $1, 100 from TikTok if it’s one of the top 10 most liked TikToks with that song, so more likely $200 it says, but it can go up to $1, 100. So, if you’re bored, please go like that last video. Actually, it’s a great song, and Aly and AJ wear Pratt Daddy Crystals because my friend Amber attends each of their shows and gives them all of their crystals, making it sort of a real promo since I wear my crystals. I also want to get that $1, 100”.
However, online users objected to his request. Commenting on the criticism, Spencer said: “Some demonic monster just wrote on my IG and tagged me, ‘ Of course Spencer’s gonna milk his burned down house for every dollar it’s worth. ‘ Duh. Duh. That’s right. Give me the best dollar amount I can get.
” How do you people not have brains? Are you just the stupidest living creatures? Due to the destruction of our house and all of our possessions, I’m obviously trying to get money to pay for our family. And if I can do it on social media, where I’ve been posting pictures of our home burning down and all of our belongings for free every single dollar, do you not think I’ll keep making money from it? “I’ve been making the only money I’ve ever made for years now.
He finished by saying:” I’d rather have my house and no social media, let me tell you that much. I’d rather have nothing and get rid of all these pointless apps. I prefer that. So, yes, I will continue ‘ milking ‘ our misery on social media. “
Spencer also criticised those who claimed he was not wealthy, calling him out. He claimed that inaccurate information about his finances was available online. Spencer has claimed he is creating these videos in an effort to make some money, and that TikTok content creators reportedly get a small fee for longer than one minute videos that are viewed by followers for more than five seconds.
Speaking to the camera from a beach, he said:” You know, one of my favourite things about my house burning down? Everyone I’ve ever read about myself on social media and Google has said that I’m a broke nobody ever since The Hills was canceled in 2010. Then it burns down our entire house and all of our possessions, and now everyone in my comments section asks, “What are you crying about?” You’re a rich celebrity. ‘ My gosh! What a re-brand. “
