Sir Rod Stewart vows ‘I’m not done yet’ after sad admission as he turns 80
As he celebrated his 80th birthday, Rod Stewart assured fans that he is “not done yet.” The singer celebrated the milestone today by posting a message to his worldwide supporters on Instagram.
Rod wrote a message in response to my birthday, saying “I’m honored to take this opportunity to express my gratitude and thanks to all of my devoted and devoted fans around the world for allowing me to lead such a wonderful life.” I hope I’ve inspired you to listen to some memorable songs, lively concerts, and… I’ve not finished yet”.
Rod’s fiancee Penny Lancaster also shared a photo of him on their current family vacation in Barbados, which has cost him millions to fly out of all of his closest and dearest. A luxury yacht is taking them on a 10-day cruise.
Penny, 53, wrote: “Happy birthday my darling. I feel so fortunate to have my kids with us all on this day. preserving our hearts forever by creating more memories. I love you”.
Celeb fans also lining up to celebrate Rod’s milestone. Davina McCall wrote: “Happy birthday Rod. Thank you for all the joy and dancing. I hope you have a wonderful day. Jools Holland wrote: “Many happy returns dear pal”.
Rod informed the family that they would not need to pay anything for the celebrations and that Rod had already flown them all first class to Florida.
It’s thought up to 14 guests are attending the exclusive do including wife Penny sons Alastair Wallace, 19, and Aiden Patrick, 13, as well as Rod’s daughter Kimberly Stewart, 45.
Nothing will stop Rod from loving his beloved Celtic, who has eight children and five women, from enjoying the boat’s laptop. The celebration has also lasted on dry land, including a night out at St. Barths’ La Guérite Beach.
Rod’s daughter’s Ruby, 37, and Renee, 32, are onboard with their respective partners Jake Kalic and Adam Sumner, as well as Liam Stewart, 30, and his wife Nicole Artukovich, who is expecting their second child.
Baby grandson’s Otis and Louie, both one, are also on the trip.
Rod can unwind and unwind ahead of a busy year of gigs by choosing the ideal birthday. He will perform at shows close to home, including those at Caesars Palace and The Colosseum during his residency there.
He announced more of “The Encore Shows” in August, which will see him return to Vegas venue for 12 dates in March, May and June in 2025. Billy Joel will be playing dates with him in the US this summer, as well as performing solo shows in Europe.
And the biggest show of the year will see Rod play Glastonbury Festival’s Legend’s slot this year.
Rod said in November, “I’m proud and ready and more than capable of taking the stage once more to enjoy and titillate my friends at Glastonbury in June.” I’ll see you there”!.
In 2002, Sir Rod performed at Glastonbury on Sunday night to close the event.
