The Hundred previously received a suspension for his actions, and Shakib Al Hasan has been given a new England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) eligibility to bowl.

The Surrey County Championship all-rounder reported by the umpires after playing one game for Surrey in the summer of 2024.

After an independent investigation determined that his action went over the 15-degree limit permitted by ECB regulations, he was banned from from the market in December.

He was not included in Bangladesh’s squad for the recent Champions Trophy, but his action was then reexamined a month later in India, which led to a ban on bowling for international matches.

However, the ECB confirmed that a subsequent investigation into his Loughborough University behavior earlier this month demonstrated that he had sufficiently remedied his behavior to have the suspension lifted.

Shakib, a former Tigers captain, has played 129 T20s, 247 one-day internationals, and 71 Tests for Bangladesh.
