Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs issues message to kids as they wish him happy birthday while he’s behind bars
Sean Combs’ children gathered to celebrate his birthday by spending the day behind bars.
The troubled music mogul was detained in September of this year after being accused of racketeering and sex trafficking, allegations that the singer furiously refuted. He was denied bail, and his trial is not anticipated to begin until May of next year, so he is expected to remain in jail.
The singer was in jail at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center on Monday when she turned 55. The details of the food he was offered during his most recent year have already been revealed in a report that has already covered his revelry-filled past celebrations.
His children called him and wished him a happy birthday. The musician is dad to Quincy, 33, Justin, 30, Christian, 26, Chance, 18, twins D’Lila and Jessie, 17, and one-year-old Love. On Monday, Justin posted a video of the siblings eating a birthday cake in front of their father and their father.
Combs declares his love for his kids and declares he is looking forward to seeing them soon as they perform a rendition of Happy Birthday, which little Love led the sing-along while doing. Justin shared the clip along with a caption stating: “Happy Birthday Pops, we love you”! Some Justin’s followers reacted with a mixed reaction to the message because they were offended by the seriousness of the crimes his father is accused of. Others were sympathetic to the children’s situation, with one writing: “One thing he did was teach them to stick together”!
The troubled star’s children issued a statement of support for him after the accusations against him were made public in light of his arrest. They declared to People: “Many have judged both him and us based on accusations, conspiracy theories, and false narratives that have spiraled into absurdity on social media”.
They added: “We stand united, supporting you every step of the way. We hold onto the truth, knowing it will prevail, and nothing will break the strength of our family. WE MISS YOU &, LOVE YOU DAD. Quincy, Justin, Christian, Chance, Jessie &, D’Lila”. Combs has vehemently refuted the accusations he is facing.
His lawyer previously told the Mirror: “As Mr. Combs ‘ legal team has emphasized, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus. Despite this, Mr. Combs categorically and without exception defame any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors. He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation”.
