Sarah Michelle Gellar talks up her Hollywood ‘comeback’ show Wolfpack on the View

Sarah Michelle Gellar wears a nautical look as she discusses slowing down her career 10 years ago for her kids: ‘I wanted to be there for them’
Sarah Michelle Gellar cut a stylish figure in an oversized black suit and striped shirt as she arrived to make an appearance on The View in New York City Tuesday morning.
The Emmy-winning actress talked up her new role on the Paramount+ series Wolfpack where she plays Kristen Ramsay, an investigator who is trying to unravel a supernatural danger that emerged after a wildfire.
Discussing her ‘comeback’ on the small screen, the Cruel Intentions actress explained she felt the timing was right for her to step back into the spotlight after focusing on her family for many years.

‘I did really take a step back, I had young children, I’ve been working my whole life. I knew for the first ten years of their life, I really wanted to be there and be present in a way my job doesn’t always allow,’ she said.
‘I wanted to be in the front row at their performances and all of that. Now they’re 10 and 13 and they have a life and they want me to go,’ said Gellar.
She added, ‘It worked out that this was the right timing to come back and be part of a big show.’



Sarah gave a shout out to her friend Brendan Fraser who was just nominated for Best Actor for his outstanding performance in The Whale.
‘As a shout out to my friend Brendan Fraser who got his Oscar nomination this morning. We keep calling it the Brenaissance, so I was like, “I don’t mind the Sarahssance, like it’s fine.”‘
Gellar, who is executive producing and starring in her new show Wolf Pack, is set to receive the Icon Award at the 2023 Savannah College of Art and Design TVfest.



Wolf Pack premieres Thursday January 26th on Paramount+ and follows two teens whos lives are forever changed when a California wildfire unveils a terrifying supernatural creature.
When the full moon rises, they join two other teens to discover the secrets that connect them all.
Gellar received international recognition for her portrayal of Buffy Summers as she protected the world from evil on the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997–2003).
The Golden Globe-nominated star was joined on the View by Meagan Good who talked about her hit show Harlem which follows four best friends as they navigate through their careers and love interests.


Meagan looked chic in a rust brown velvet high-waisted trouser pant and blazer set over a white fitted top with a twisted fabric accent across her chest.
She paired the soft, pleated fabric with a matching detachable belt, open toes heels, and large hoop earrings.
Good also talked about her role on Shazam which she said came after she created a workout video of herself in front of a mural of all the Marvel characters.
