Sam Fender set to make debut in Portugal as Nos Alive 2025 announce huge acts
Sam Fender is preparing to perform in Portugal for the first time as he participates in Nos Alive’s 17th season.
Later this year, the renowned artists will join the bill for the huge music festival. Sam Fender, an indie artist, will leave his Newcastle roots for Lisbon’s onstage stage with his brand-new album. Sam will be first introduced to Portuguese fans during the three-day event, which takes place at Passeio Martimo de Algés.
Next month, he’ll release his new album People Watching. As one of the most renowned and prosperous British musicians of his generation, Sam has performed at summer festivals and sold out stadiums since his debut album Hypersonic Missiles (2019) and Seventeen Going Under (2021).
As Nos Alive 2025’s most recent confirmation, independent rock trio Bright Eyes will join Sam and Sam. Conor Oberst’s North American band will make its debut appearance on Portugal’s Heineken Stage at the festival. Olivia Rodrigo and Kings of Leon are already Nos Alive’s mainstays.
They will perform alongside huge acts including Noah Kahan, Benson Boone, Glass Animals, Girl in Red, St. Vincent, Foster the People and Amyl and the Sniffers. Dua Lipa, a Glastonbury performer, and Pearl Jam were the other two performers performing on the same night last year.
165, 000 attended the event, which is held across seven stages. The festival, which was established in 2007, is well-known for attracting stars of all kinds. Previous performances have come from Arctic Monkeys, Da Weasel, Coldplay, Imagine Dragons, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sam Smith, Grace Jones, Arlo Parks, Metallica, The Weeknd, Stromae, Jorja Smith, Rage Against The Machine, Radiohead, Florence + the Machine, Green Day, Neil Young, and Bob Dylan.
Fans are eager to see who else will play as the lineup for the 2025 gets added. As it stretches its way across a beach just outside of Lisbon, festivalgoers can anticipate plenty of sun. The Portuguese festival promises fine weather, culture and cuisine alongside the city’s well-known nightlife.
It is 15 minutes from nearby beaches and only 15 minutes from downtown. The closest airport is Lisboa, which is 12km away. The Algés Maritime Promenade dominates the scene while NOS Alive is set in front of the River Tagus. The festival will be held this year from July 10 through July 12 and includes both day and full festival tickets.
Day tickets have been priced at 84 Euros, which comes to £70.90. Two day passes are 168 Euros, which works out at £141, while the full event tickets is 199 Euros or £168 for the whole festival stint. Find out more about Nos Alive 2025 here.
