Rebekah Vardy’s ‘two-faced’ gesture to Coleen Rooney as she’s ‘determined to have final say’

The two WAGs have been fighting over Coleen’s £1.8 million legal bill again after five years apart from the infamous Wagatha Christie scandal.

Rebekah has always defended her innocence, denying that she ever leaked false information about Coleen’s private life and even sending several messages of support before the first story leak, despite the scouse star, wife of Wayne Rooney, winning her high-profile defamation case against fellow WAG Rebekah Vardy.

Following an appeal by Rebekah, who had to pick up Colleen’s bill, a court ruled this week that the Wagatha Christie legal costs would not be reduced.

In a dramatic reveal shared on social media in 2019, Coleen opened the door to the truth about her scheme to uncover the truth. Taking to Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, Coleen, then 34, wrote: “I have saved and screenshotted all the original stories which clearly show just one person has viewed them. It’s… Rebekah Vardy’s account”. Thus began the Wagatha Christie controversy.

Rebekah, who was instructed to cover 90 per cent of Coleen’s costs, disputed the “sheer magnitude” of the charges and lost. Reflecting on what happened, she claimed:” Throughout that day I was getting messages saying are you ok? People simply letting me know that they were there when I needed them, since that was my private account. Rebekah got in touch. I thought it was a nice message. Because of her public appearance, I assumed she was just being compassionate and sympathetic.
