Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Danielle Staub mourns the loss of her Chihuahua Fendi
Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Danielle Staub took to Instagram on Tuesday to mourn the loss of her Chihuahua dog Fendi.
‘It’s impossible to express the sorrow and pain We feel over the loss of our precious Fendi!’ Staub, 58, said in the caption. ‘My sweet little baby girl I want to thank you for giving me the best 14 years anyone could ask for. You are my best friend, companion and continuous source of joy!’
The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum continued, ‘I am lost without you but I want you to find your Peace. You are my angel.’
She wrapped up the emotional post in saying, ‘I love you more than words. RIP my little one.’
Staub, a native of Wayne, New Jersey, last month posted a picture of Fendi on National Puppy Day.
She captioned the shot, ‘Love you Fendi,’ adding that the canine was her ‘constant source of’ smiles.
In an accompanying shot, Staub had her brown locks pulled back as she held her beloved pooch, who was outfitted in a green furry ensemble.
Staub had frequently featured Fendi on her social media accounts, including a cooking clip on YouTube last year, saying, ‘Fendi is quite familiar with her burger – well, she should be. It’s named after her.’
She received condolences from many people including fellow Bravo alum Gretchen Rossi, who wrote, ‘So sorry … sending healing prayers.’
After being a principle player on the show’s first two seasons, Staub initially departed in season three. She came back in a limited ‘friend’ capacity over the past three seasons before she announced her exit from Real Housewives of New Jersey in January 2020 on Watch What Happens Live.
She said at the time: ‘I will be never returning as a Housewife again with the Jersey girls. I have, over the past 12 years and 10 seasons, been a part of this whole franchise and I’ve been very happy to rally and stand on a platform and be here with all of you.
